Hi people. I've been away for a while and just back on here now. I've trawled back hundreds of posts looking for what the whiskas deal is but cannot see it. Can someone point me to the deal or summarise? Thanks

I too have gone back a long way and can't find anything on the whiskers deal. Can anybody help. DD is going to pick me up in 10 mins. Thank you all.

I know people have posted already but if you searched "whiskas", scrolled back on the search results page to the first occurence of the word on the thread, and read that post plus a few follow up posts you would have figured it out

DTD on meat - you can do it tweets. You know you want to :D

For water meters, a rough rule of thumb is that if you have more bedrooms than people you should save money. We are two people in a three bedroom house and pay £15 per month with a water meter. I can't remember what it was before as it's so long since we changed, but a meter definitely worked out cheaper for us.

Not nice is it but this thread helps you to cope.

I still have to pluck up courage to get DTD on meat i stand there looking but never tried. :o

    What's a Santander card please ?

I bank with Santander and got a current account.

When i asked about a water meter i got told it would cost me £10 a month more so i said i wouldn't bother .

I like my job and the kitchen i am in now.
Trouble is i could get transferred without notice to an awful kitchen and cant do a thing about it.
This thread has been a lifesaver for me more than once I don't go for every glitch because I couldn't afford it plus would only be buying for the sake of it I don't drink and live in Scotland so don't do alcohol glitches just get what I need to keep me going knowing that I could easily lose my job and be unemployed so I keep my lifestyle simple

Interesting. Is that what the water company told you? I know Martin's rule of thumb on here is, if you have more bedrooms than people, you will generally save. There are 2 of us and our water is £16.39 per month on a meter if that's any help. We are quite frugal with our water.

How much do you pay a month or a year?

Enquire again about the water meter. My bill has reduced by a huge amount since I changed.I'm saving about £20 per month.
