Thanks, there is nothing included that looks like it has a microchip.

If you are still training then the smarts will probably be "dummy" smarts and might just look like a section of card.

Are you able to log into the panel site?
There is a training tab there which should help familiarise you with how the panel works and its terminology....
If you do not have any smarts in the package that you have been sent it may be that they are being processed seperately and will arrive in time for your postings in a seperate envelope....

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Courtesy of TCB, no cashback guys

Last week TCB teamed up with The Times and ran a record breaking £25 cashback offer on online subscription. As expected our savvy TCB members didn't allow this to go unnoticed.

The TCB team however spotted on certain forums that there has been some confusion about how to be eligible for this cashback. To clarify, members are able to sign up using the £1 for One Month Trial but they will not be eligible for cashback if they cancel within the first month, as this is classed as a trial not online subscription. To receive cashback you must continue The Times monthly rolling membership and pay the second month’s fee of £26.

They terms and conditions didn't appear till yesterday. Worth a punt I guess. I'm going to cancel d/d and contact them

There is just an envelope (with paper inside), a jiffy bag (with paper inside), labels and a letter from RM (oh and some stamps :D), nothing that looks like a microchip or a dummy one.

I've been on the site and under the stationery bit it says I can order 'SMARTs return envelopes' which I have done in case it's these.

Do you think it's best to cancel d/d asap and then try raising a claim on it? It's a bit naughty of them to only add the terms and conditions after it's been publicised all over every deals site going...

I would think that your smarts will be received seperately...
the smart return envelopes will not help you in this instance...but always handy to have a few.

Do not tell me who your posting is addressed to(I probably know them anyway)...but when are your test items due to be posted?
If you have not received smarts seperately by that date you have 2 options..either phone the helpline/email them querying the lack of smarts or wait until the corresponding day the following week to post the items in the hope that you will receive the smarts to enter in the letters/packets

When you do post items please leave all the extra padding and paper in the item as this is needed to weigh down the item or pad it out to achive the correct postage weight...its amazing just how many people think this is not needed and remove it!
