Thank you so much for leading me by the nose ColliesCarer. I need it!0

Thanks Atilla but what's an LBA and who is Ellie Doohan? Would she be Asda's legal eagle?

Slight revision to my previous post on reading through again.
If the four categories you mention Smart has are options in an on-line appeal submission form - then would tick "other" to avoid the possibility that they refuse an appeal because the form wasn't completed correctly0 -

Apologies to atilla for answering on their behalf.
Ellie Doohan - see LinkedIn
Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer EMEA at Walmart
Company Secretary and General Counsel at Asda Stores Ltd
and an LBA is a letter before action - they don't tend to like even the merest hint of a possibility of an action being brought against them for failures under EA20100 -
Thanks once again CC. I'm sending a letter, not filling in an on-line form but towards the bottom of S.Parking's NTK letter, on the reverse, there's a dotted line with an 'Appeal Reply Slip' after it.
Alongside the requisite 'Other' box to be ticked, it says Please include any supporting documents and a letter explaining your reason for appeal
I'll cut this off, tick the requisite box and attach it to my letter with a copy of their ticket and the driver's receipt, which show the visit was one minute. My letter is a slightly edited version of the NEWBIES template, which was a blessing as I'm not really up to this at the moment.
Besides mentioning protected characteristics in the letter, I've also raised the spectre of Ellie Doohan. I should have it posted by lunch time tomorrow, unless a favourable CEO's letter arrives in the morning post.
Will update the forum as soon as I have Asda's response.
Sincerely T.W.O.0 -

Smart Parking will cancel this, as they always do when they see the template appeal. You won't even need POPLA!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
How sweet that sounds!0

And, as she pointed out to me only recently, also responsible for H&S throughout the company.0 -
Thanks Atilla. I did use her name in my first letter of appeal so fingers crossed.
