Because doing it the bailiff way will cost them more money0 -

Because where's the fun in that? At the end of the day they have been ordered by a court to send payment by a set date. They have not complied with that, as the payment they sent would not be accepted (they might as well have sent a big bag of magic beans).
It is therefore up to the judgment debtor to decide how they want to enforce judgment. So, getting the Court Officers involved is going to cost ParkingEye at least another £100.0 -
It was just an option. It depends if the OP thinks it's worth the hassle. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Oh it has got to be worth the hassle to cost ParkingEye even more money. And the hassle is walking into a court and asking them to enforce a judgment and paying them £100, which will be recovered.0 -
the more CCJs a company gets is going to look bad , the last company I worked for vetted prospective suppliers , CCJs suggest that there has been a problem , in the case of parking eye , they can only (truthfully) say to Mr "x" of "x" supermarket , "yup we lied in court ,failed to submit correct docci,s and were found against , we then said "up you" to the courts and sat on the mug/customers money until they found £100 to catch up
it doesn't,t happen that often , only 3 times in the last 8 weeks!0 -
An update from Pranky's blog (in the comments section):-
I have checked another (Credit checking agency) and they actually have a third unsatisfied CCJ 11/11/2010 £190 Melton Mowbray Court 0MM01619, and one satisfied 01/09/2009 £60 Preston 9QT48712 which was only paid 25/09/2012 !!!! 3 years late ! Their credit rating has dived from 94/100 on the 9th Jan 2014 to 38/100 27th March . They appear to have no regard for orders from the court. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
