The OP needs to contact the hire co and tell them not to pay anything asap.0

And I've yet to see a lease/hire contract that allows the company to pay speculative invoices and add an admin fee on top. The T&Cs all talk about Fines and Penalties ... a Parking Charge Notice is neither a Fine nor a Penalty.
My Weegie friend is correct. Hence my earlier post about BVRLA.
PS - I've PMd a board guide to get this thread moved.0 -

And if their terms say fines that does not cover speculative invoices.
Have you read the terms and conditions ?
I haven't seen them on this thread. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Replying what though? And who's paying for the time spent having to do all this?0 -

the notice to keeper. Which they are legaly bound to do, unless they choose to sort it out themselves, which in that case they that should not be passing the cost on to the driver. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

As Weegie-man says, they have received a Notice to Keeper. If they are BVRLA members then they have already been given guidance as to their legal requirements, liabilities and how to discharge such liabilities.
If their T&Cs do not cover for speculative invoices (which are what Parking Charge Notices are, and I doubt there is any lease/hire company who DO have this covered) then they have no contractual right to charge any admin fee to the vehicle hirer.0 -
