Prudent what is this 'ironing' you speak about and should I have been doing it?:eek:To carbon offset my time on the computer on mse, I have pledged to give up ironing

First rule of comp club: you never go on holiday
Second rule of comp club: you NEVER go on holiday
Get the idea Al

What am I going to do, I'm away for two weeks in August
I'm hoping the villa we're staying in has internet access so I can comp from there, I'm borderline OCD I think :rotfl:
My OH thinks I'm daft, soon as I get home I'm checking the post and emails to see if I've won anything and then straight on here to see what everyone else has won :T:TITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0 -

The carbon offsetting is an inspired idea. :T And if you're desperate enough, if you squint your eyes the clothes don't even look creased!!!!
Ignorance is bliss when it comes ironing, at least until the ironing mountain threatens to reach the ceiling:eek:0 -
Personally, I favour performance-related pay, i.e. I'd only pay them for the comps they won for me! :rotfl:
Do lots of you do this daily?
Yes - actually it's really hard not to...
Do you enter everything?
Only comps that either myself friends or family could use, so don't tend to enter holiday comps (especially as most of them exclude school holidays, and I'm a divorced mother of 1)
How much of your time do you spend comping?
About 2 hours a day - about 30 mins at lunchtime at work then another 30 mins before bedtime, then catch up at the weekends.
Do you enjoy it?
Oh yes, always nice to dream what I might do with the prize - currently I'm lusting after the Baileys Camper Van - always wanted one of those:D
Can you tell that I'm nosey?
Yes - but don't worry, I asked the same questions a while back!
I'm intrigued by it all at the mo. Some of your wins are fantastic and kind of encourage me to enter but I'm wondering if I'll get bored really quickly and stop entering!
Getting bored isn't the problem - switching off when there are still Avon products to be won is the REAL problem.....!
How long have you all been comping?
Only about 2 months
Is there a thread somewhere where you've all already had this discussion?:o
Almost definitely, but we're all too busy entering comps to look for it:T
I only actually enter comps where I want the prize. I dont enter comps if I wouldn't make use of the prize.
Me too - if it's not something I either want or need, I leave it so that someone who really wants it can win it. Same with things like concert tickets - if I know the event is on a date I can't make, I don't bother entering it. It just seems like a waste of time to try and win tickets for something I can't go to anyway!
Not that my strategy is succesful - only 1 tiny win so far... Never mind, it can only get better!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competitions boards. It is an activity no self respecting comper considers.
OMG you mean I'm normal:eek:
 no, second thoughts it's not worth taking it up just to be different.
