A clasp of emotion? NAhh doesn't work. I think we all know what I mean!
It is a good source of information, as long as you can stand the likes of RealistBear! LOL :rotfl:I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.
That also means I cannot share in any profits from any decisions made!;)0 -

Don't let the name put you off, although full of bears the site is updated with the latest news faster than any other. Intelligent and articulate thoughts expressed with a pinch of emotion are often 'on the money' and its the first place to go to find links to the latest housing articles.

You can read all the Ofsted inspection reports for local schools at http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports/
There is a search facility where you enter your postcode and it brings up each school by proximity. When you click on the schools name you can then scroll down and actually read their last Ofsted report.
Takes a bit of time to read through, but invaluable really. 15 minutes for your child's futureEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

There's lot of information at www.upmystreet.com but my favourite bit is the neighbourhood profile. You can read about the type of people you'll be living near.
I've moved a lot over the last few years and it's pretty frighteningly correct! It even differentitates between different areas of the same town.

Good afternoon: The UK Planning Portal is an excellent source of info http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/england/genpub/en/ You can find out about potential building projects in your neighbourhood, find links to Building Regs, local council etc.
