A brand new car may benefit from a oil change after the first 1k miles or so as the engine "beds in".

Read the owner's manual. Follow manufacturer's recommendations for service and oil changes.

Go to the library and check out a book on how to look after your car. If you want to do more of your own servicing, go to eBay and buy a CD of the factory service manual.

Ignore what the service book says and change the oil and filter every 4,000 miles or three months.

The place I work for just got some VW Caddy vans that are on a 20,000 mile service schedule... no interim oil changes

I know oil technology has moved on but even so....20,000 miles is a long time.

Remind me, how long is the warranty?

No idea. I suspect it'll run out just before the engines pop though ;)

    Hi friends,

Can you give me some useful tips for my new car to maintain its average and better performance.?

Before I could make any meaningful comment I would really need to know the make and model and if it's brand new or whatever.

    So what is it?

I think this is a spam post of some sort........

Broken English gives it away, im not sure what the advantage is in doing this though.
