Sorry for such a moany post! I was so tired last night I just had to give in and go to sleep.

Thanks Al and Tilly for popping in :)

I'm feeling a lot better today. We had to get up early for a vet appointment to get the horrible hound and terrible terrier vaccinated and they were really well behaved. This was free as we pay monthly and we got to ask about 50 questions at the same time :o

Then we went for a lovely long walk on the beach. It was bright and sunny but freezing with a cold wind so all the cobwebs have been blown away :) The tide was out and the dogs have worn themselves out :T

Only one week until half term :T

I might have actually found THE wedding shoes :D:o

Anyway, time is getting on so here is a quick list:
      [STRIKE]
    • Quick tidy
    • Wash clothes
    • Pick up library books[/STRIKE]
    • Sort RM survey stuff
    • Food shopping list
    • Update spreadsheets etc

    Wedding stuff:
    • Take suit to dry cleaners
    • Finish last few invitations
    • Try on shoes with dress
    • Look at shirts and ties online before we go shopping next week
    • Look for pictures of cakes
    • Update budget - let's just say our initial idea was on the conservative side :eek::eek:
    • Speak to best man
    • Honeymoon - hire car, travel insurance, excess insurance, airport parking

This is the first time I've dared to write a wedding to do list on here. It was too long before but we're getting there slowly! Everything else has to wait (a) until nearer the time, or (b) until my mum is back from holiday in a couple of weeks.

    Sorry for your loss Janey.xxx

Thanks Al. It was really sad and I can't stop thinking about it because I feel his suffering was prolonged and completely avoidable.

    Thanks :)

Feeling pretty tired today. I'm always like this towards the end of term. No matter how much sleep I get, I'm still tired. It's not as bad now I only do four days a week but this term has been worse than most!

I went riding earlier with a friend and I'm waiting for the bathroom to heat up to a suitable temperature to have a shower! Roll on underfloor heating :o

It is a lovely cold but sunny day here again today :) We're having take away with my mum tonight which is an unnecessary expense but she doesn't see it that way! I didn't get very far with my list yesterday so I'm going to have a rethink and aim to get some stuff done in the week :p

One thing I did achieve was to check our wedding budget - lets just say we need to save a bit more! Some things weren't even included in our original estimate, such as a honeymoon!!! So this has gone in the 'holiday' column of the spreadsheet to stop me feeling even worse at the cost of the wedding  We should still be able to pay for it all before we go, as well as meeting our savings target for our renovation project, so it's not too bad...:rotfl::o

I'm having a much needed evening off, although I may have done a little bit of research into airport parking :)

Still feeling so tired. Work is really awful and now we have a really stressful two days booked in at work in the first week back :( Something to look forward to.

Went to have see a lady about altering my wedding dress yesterday and my shoes looked good too. Could do with losing a few lbs though

We also had the structural engineer looking round yesterday so we could start building work soon - I really need to start decluttering! I'm generally quite good but it's going to be hard to find somewhere to keep everything when we start pulling walls and floors down so the less stuff the better

    Your build sounds exciting :)

I'm torn - 50% of me would like a character wreck - the other 50% would like a character wreck with the budget for someone else to fix it! ;)

I'm too old for you Ed - and what would Mrs Ed say :eek::eek:
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
