Cool, well done.
Just out of interest, how is it that you "run" a weather station? Are they expensive to buy? Which do you have - it seems to have lots of data!
PS - I actually just called SolarEdge to try and get them to sort out the incorrect readings I had between Lifetime and annual.
They said they've done it *again* so hopefully it will have worked this time. I also asked them why I couldn't see everything that you can - apparently I need to be granted "full" access, so I've asked my installer to do that.
Finally, I asked them whether we needed a "site" API, and he confirmed we did.3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.

Always had an interest in the weather. When they became computerised I made the leap and invested in a good one from the US - Davis VP2. Visit my own website here and check Station Info. That one is expensive but it's very reliable and has a brilliant radio signal plus a very good console. Visit my supplier here for more info. I bought the Vantage Pro 2.jimmyboy420 wrote: »Cool, well done.

Very good. My installer has also just got back to me and SE confirmed that 'glitch' with the Lifetime energy will be fixed soon.PS - I actually just called SolarEdge to try and get them to sort out the incorrect readings I had between Lifetime and annual.

Excellent. Thanks James. That's what I gave my installer. Finally, I asked them whether we needed a "site" API, and he confirmed we did.Cheers,

Crikey, that is expensive. If it was under £50 I'd have been tempted...3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.

You can buy them for that price but they're not as robust. Maplins have one you might be interested in. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/black-usb-wireless-touchscreen-weather-forecaster-n96gyCheers,

Good news James. My installer clicked on the link at the top of page 4 on that API document and it returned an error. He's contacted them about correcting it.
I shouldn't be too far behind you hopefully. Can you provide a link to your PVOutput page please?Cheers,
Ray.

Well, I called SolarEdge to find out my Site ID. He didn't really know what I was talking about, but he was very helpful.
Firstly, he gave me an API Key which was different from the one my installer gave me. It also turned out to be correct!
He said he'd find out about Site ID and call me back. And he did! So I know my site ID and my API key, and I have managed to get data from the API, so it's all working. I can pull out the data in 15 minute increments by going to the right URL, etc.
I've informed the PVOutput guy of this, and hopefully he'll take a look at it, though I'm sure he may not want to spend his Easter weekend doing it!
Anyway, it seems it's hard to figure out your Site ID. No one knows about it, apart from one random bloke at SolarEdge, and he's on holiday (I think it's a national holiday in Israel). But the customer support guy called him and managed to get hold of it for me.
You may be best off calling SolarEdge (freephone) on Tuesday or Wednesday to get these details.
Hopefully more good news to follow in the coming weeks.3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
