  • I've had a reply from PVOutput. They say Solar Edge has not provided an API so as things stand the process cannot be uploaded.

I will write to them and see what they say. Quite disappointing for such a major pv company.
    Cheers,
    Ray.

... I even run my own weather station but can't find a way of using that info. Maybe only open to Australians and those who donate! ..
    Hi

The normal way to do this looks to be an upload of the temperature data from your weather station to an account on wunderground (http://www.wunderground.com/) and then link the PVOutput account to import the temperature data from the wunderground account ...

  • Thanks Z. It's the linking bit that's proving problematical. My WU station is ISTOCKPO4. Where would I enter that? It's not obvious. :o

Go to settings for your system, go to the automatic uploads section, and for the primary device, select "weather".

For some reason it doesn't seem to work for me though... I've added my local system and entered my API details but no luck getting it to update historic values...

    Hi

I believe you'll need to generate an API key for temperature in WU then enable API in PVOutput and input the WU key... looks like temperatures will only load for current day ....

  • Hi gents,

Sorry, not ignoring you. I've been building a new PC today which has taken longer than anticipated. I'll look at this over the next couple of days but I think I have tried clicking Weather and nothing happened.

    I'll investigate my WU account.
    Cheers,
    Ray.

    Jimmy,

Just sussed out the 15 minute csv data. It's generated from the Dashboard page. I was using the Chart page.

    Hi Ray,

What is the Chart page you're talking about? Can you provide a link or describe how to get there? I can't find a page called chart at all...

  • Hi Jimmy,

On the home page there are 5 menu options - dashboard, layout, chart, reports and alerts. You seeing the same as me?
    Cheers,
    Ray.

  • Here's my home page. Suggest you contact your installer about an update. Do you have panels on more than one roof? The physical layout should also be available if you have. Only the installer can do that.
