    From what I understand about this policy, the insurance amount you paid per month was 80 pence per £100 of your insured credit(overdraft) limit.

    You were paying that regardless of amount you were overdrawn.

    No need for judgemental posts.

    1. Who qualifies for insurance
    Cover is available to Personal Overdraft customers who are aged 18 or over and under 70 and are resident in the UK.
    You will not be covered for any pre-existing medical conditions.
    You will not be covered for any unemployment of which you were aware, or ought
    reasonably to have been aware, at the start date.
    You are not covered for unemployment that occurs within 60 days of the start date and you must be in continuous work for at least 6 months at the time your employment ceases.
