You havent mentioned your reasons for complaint. So, we cant give any comment

What exactly have you cancelled? £4 a month doesn't sound like any PPI policy. Why would you get a refund?

I apologise-i rang my bank on the weekend asking them why am I paying out £4 a month, was told i pay PPI, i took out an overdraft back in 98 and that is what the ppi is for!! Did not even realise i pay PPI till beginning of this yr as it never showed on my statements till then but ive definetely bn paying it since then, this was the information barclays gave me! All i wanted to know was if anyone with past experience etc knew appeox how much id get back?! Ive just sent off a claim back that barclays themselves advised me to do!

If your complaint is successful, you'll receive a refund of all PPI paid plus attendant interest plus 8% simple interest.

If you have paid £4 a month since 1998 (sounds unlikely), that's £48 a year for 16 years.
Can you tell us why this payment didn't appear on your statements? Have you actually had an overdraft for those 16 years? Basically, if it didn't appear on your statements, it means you didn't pay it.

Clearly, I don't know (or particularly care) either. My responses were in simply in reply to your assertions which you've now recanted.

Calm down, people can only respond to the information given.

Are you saying you have always been in your overdraft or you have the facility available to you? How is this charge detailed on your account?

So again, how is the charge detailed on your account?

Anyone is entitled to make a claim for a PPI refund, but you will need to have a valid reason for that claim to be successful. What is your reason for complaint?

It is very concerning that you have been overdrawn for 16 years. If you visit the Debtfree Wannabe board they will help you to better manage your debt.

Would any Bank actually countenance this? I sincerely doubt that the overdraft has been continuously in the red for that period of time..
