  • I think they thought i would be super scared.

They accused me of harassing their so called witness, I replied back quoting the protection from harassment act correcting them along with a couple of choice comments.

odd they failed to reply to me

Parking eye have accused me of "taking an unhealthy interest" in our caases and it continues to concern us

I thought an upright ethical company would welcome interest from members of the public? After all they have nothing to hide have they?

Would that be one of the witnesses who let parkingeye use photocopied witness statements and therefore did not actually know anything about the case, or would that be one of the witnesses where parkingeye just emailed them a pre-written witness form (without a parking charge notice) for signing and returning...and therefore did not actually know anything about the case?

    VICTORY!!!!
ParkingEye finally saw sense and made me the offer I wanted and am happy with; a more reasonable £20, which is a considerable reduction from the £160 they were demanding.

I have settled this because quite frankly I want to concentrate on more important matters, like job hunting and more personal issues. These things hanging over one are emotionally very draining!! Yes I might have won in court, but I have persevered and followed the advice given, so I can look forward to being relieved of the stress and time consuming litigation from bullies like this.

I see this as a Victory for the Parking Prankster, MoneySavingExpert and Pepipoo forums and would like to thank you SO much for all your help and guidance. I have a special thanks for Parking Prangster; I have no doubts at all that without his help, I would have been tied up in knots!!.
Advice: PERSEVERE and follow the advice given. PARKING PRANGSTER RULES!!!!

I take it you are paying at £1 per week and demand a receipt after every payment?

Does your agreement state that you have to pay the £20 by a certain date?

The arrangement and WPO was pay within 7 days; I just wanted rid, so paid up. I had put aside the amount and am happy with the result. Persevered, made a nuisance of myself and got what I wanted.

So he's the one who scraped our car in Tesco? :rotfl:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Oh they've got you under their skin
You've cut deep, deep in the heart of them
So deep have you cut, you're really un-nerving them
They've got you under their skin
They've tried so not to give in
Yet really they know that their case prob'ly won't go so well
But still they insist that it is a genuine P O L
They've got you under their skin

You'd sacrifice anything come what might
For the sake of costin' them dear
They're hearing a mocking voice that comes in the night
And repeats and repeats in their ear
"Don't you know,PE fools, you're not gonna win?
Use your mentality, wake up to reality.
    "
So lets hope that they do and the thought of you
Makes them stop, before they begin
Cause they've got you under their skin
