    Hi again all

My wife received a letter to today which is identical to my original one except the current date of notice is for 2 days ago.

They request £85 or £50 if we pay within 14 days.

Whats the best way to proceed now from here.

    Thanks again

lol, question number 1 - in your template, I am now assuming that I should identify myself (well my wife) as the driver, since resetting the process hence from your template, something like this?

"As the driver of this vehicle, I have received your parking invoice which of course, I decline your invitation to pay. I wish to invoke your appeals process, since all liability to your company is denied on the following basis:"

everything else remains the same but omitting the following part in red from this paragraph:

    (b) Any obfuscation on your part, such as pretending I have to name the driver, alleging I am too late or unable to appeal as keeper or requiring more evidence when clearly I have already set out my full challenge for this stage, will be reported to the DVLA and to your respective ATA, as a sanctionable breach of your Code of Practice

    Hope this makes sense!!

Am I right in thinking that the rejection letter they will send will include a POPLA code?

    Thanks

    b) Any obfuscation on your part, such as pretending I have to name the driver, alleging I am too late [STRIKE]or unable to appeal as keeper[/STRIKE] or requiring more evidence when clearly I have already set out my full challenge for this stage, will be reported to the DVLA and to your respective ATA, as a sanctionable breach of your Code of Practice

Leave the above out as the RK has already discharged any obligation by naming the driver. The RK is completely out of the frame now.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Umkomaas, thanks, will delete that crossed out in your post but should I also delete the part I had in red "pretending I have to name the driver", as I am now responding as the driver...

Sorry, just want to get this right

    Thanks

Also, when I checked out high views webpage, they do have an appeals link which takes you to an external site http://www.pcnphoto.com. Is appealing this way safe or is a letter better (or both). I know that when you send mail off an external web page you often do not get any kind of date stamp, proof etc. Aim to get this letter away tomorrow morning if best.

    Thanks again
