Simply becasue they are on 2 different addresses on the electoral register doesn't mean they are claiming fraudulenty.
My husband and I live between 2 houses for work reasons, so are registered at 2 seperate addresses, however if we needed to claim would still claim as a married couple.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -

The top 1% of earners in the UK pay 29% of all income tax.
Just how much more would you like me to pay to subsidise you?
And edited to add, OP, you should of course report them, even if you just have strong suspicions, let alone if you have proof.0 -

Why can't we have a name and shame list? We are such a tolerant society in UK. Last night on TV a guy from Romania was boasting how he came to UK as a builder but makes £50k a year shoplifting instead. And we've still got a TV programme 'gypsies on benefits and proud' or what ever it's called. These programmes are just used to get ratings for channel 4/5 cause they haven't got a clue how to make nice things in life interesting:mad:
End of rant...I would shop anyone in a heartbeat!:A0 -

in 1 instance, possibly, can't imagine they'd be shouting about it, so who knows! the other, definitely not as they are still quite blatant about 'what they get away with'0 -

Sometimes what people tell their friends and neighbours and what is really happening could be two completely different things. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -

Not according to my accountant.
I say "Can I do this?" and he says "Yes, fine" or "No Way" He never says "ah, that's a bit dubious, but as long as nobody knows"0 -
Forgetting the marginal difference in benefits going in the pocket.
It is the waste of a 2nd house that would be the main crime.0 -
Oh if they are committing fraud, and you manage to stop it, how are they to fund their habit ? Theft ?0

I would like to have the nature of name and shame but I just can't.
I have a disability and receive ESA, but before being ill I worked in the same job for 25 years. Never having claimed anything even while I being on maternity from work in the late 80's. I had no idea about the benefit system until recently.
I worked with a lady ( using the work loosely) for many years who claimed DLA care/mobility at highest rate and was granted it so she had the mobility car. This lady wore the highest heels you ever did see and said she had mobility problems and the system agreed. If they had seen her on a Saturday night jiving down her local maybe they would have changed their minds.
Sorry I am deviating from the point I am trying to make, there she was with nothing at all wrong with her I and I know cause she used to boast about getting the brand new car every three years and the extra money for her care to go to the bingo and her local. And there was I who really had an illness/disability and could not get any DLA care/mobility no matter how many times I apply. Unfortunately I just could not bring myself to shop her even though I knew and everyone else knew she was a benefit cheat.
This has been going on for years (about 2005) and she still gets all the benefits of DLA, and she still gets the new car etc.
I wish I could but I just can't mostly in case my identity was not secret.0 -

HBO- you took the words right out of my mouth! It could be that the investigation is complex and still ongoing, it could be that they have been found to be doing nothing wrong. The list goes on and on.
The o/p here could be wrong - they could be claiming as a couple and if that's the case then nothing will be done0
