Yep, I'm in the same boat, I've checked it, and it seems okay. Actually, I never opened up an online account with them, I was just kicked out of Virgin as they wanted all cable, so I may be completely in the clear

I've worked out why we all leave our finance admin.... it's bloomin hard work!
We are both still in the middle of the M&S current account opening.
We have masses of paperwork, and have endured long phone calls to activate our card, set up a phone/internet banking code and start the switch from Nationwide.
We're getting there. The switches will happen on 5th November, which also happens to be the same day as the first payments to the 6% monthly saver will happen.
I've sent £10 to both current accounts, but can't check that they've arrived ok as we don't have the keypads for internet banking yet. Hopefully they will arrive soon, as I would like to make sure the money gets there ok, before I send more money for the monthly saver transfer.
We're also awaiting an ATM PIN. I'm sure it wasn't as long winded for the other current accounts we've opened.
A bit of spending to report. We've both ordered a quilted jacket. ( not the same designs - we don't want to look like twins!) We both have lightweight jackets and a heavy anorak for when it's really cold, but nothing in between. These new jackets will get a lot of wear.
Rather embarrassingly, we've ordered from a website called Fifty Plus:eek: But they have some nice stuff - it's not all frumpy!:rotfl:Early retired - 18th December 2014

Oh my word - I've just fallen in love with Joe Browns dresses. I wonder if my sister would kill me, if I wore one for her son's wedding?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I too found the opening of the M and S account particularly excruciating.
Lol Gally....Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
M&S Pin numbers arrived today - now just the internet keypad thingy required.
I really like Joe Brown clothes. I bought a couple of tops from them a few years ago and still wear them often.
Their website address is www.joebrowns.co.uk
They market themselves as being young and funky, so it amused me when they turned up on the Fifty Plus website!:rotfl:
The leaves are well and truly falling now. On our walk this morning the ground is covered with leaves, acorns and conkers. Let me tell you, it's very painful when a conker falls on your head!Early retired - 18th December 2014
