Lol, it's the way 80% of people walk in Uggs that gets me - the sole has slid to one side and they're slopping about on the side of the boot! Classy...!

I must admit I can't tell the real difference with crocs and some other shoes. What is the point of trying to find this difference? There are so many cheap fakes of crocs out right now, that it is really hard to actually find the real thing.

Crocs or not, shoes are shoes. Sounds stupid I know, but you really can't know anymore. Same thing happened with those Ugg boots. Suddenly they were everywhere and not too many knew that the real ones are actually quite expensive.

Where have you seen Crocs that you think are fakes? If you buy from Ebay you're more likely to get fakes but if you buy from reputable retailers you're getting the real thing. Knock-offs are made from cheap plastic, if you examine them properly you can tell the difference between them and the real thing, fakes don't usually have the proper Crocs logo on either. If they make your feet smell when you wear them they're probably fakes :D Proper Crocs are made from Croslite which are anti-bacterial so they don't make your feet smell! Someone earlier in this thread posted a useful guide on Ebay on how to spot fakes, I bookmarked it so you might want to have a look at that: LISTINGS:3" rel="nofollow">http://reviews.ebay.com/Fake-Crocs-Clogs-DeFeet-the-Purpose_W0QQugidZ10000000001405007?ssPageName=BUYGD:CAT:-1:LISTINGS:3

You may well find that fake Crocs rub you sore in various places, whereas the real thing won't.

Fake Uggs are very easily spotted once they've been worn a few times. As Skint_Cat says, the wearer tends to walk on the side of the boot rather than the sole.

As with most things in life - if they seem too cheap to be the real thing, they're probably fake!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • I can find any decently price black Alice's

There's a few web sites with them priced at around £14.99 but they are all out of stock. The ones that do have them in stock are about £30.00!!

    Off to hunt again!!

Trying to think where I got mine from - I live in them now & would like some different colours.
  • The purple ones are really nice. So are the red. They seam to be priced around £15.00. It's just the black ones that I want that are expensive!!

Ah got mine in office - must have been a voucher or sale or something. I see they've got the red now but no black.
  • I've decided to get them from FootArt. £20.00 (free delivery) , still cheaper than the £30.00 on some sites!

I want to buy my kids a pair of crocs for the summer (they were given some last year & got on really well with them).

Sports Direct have kids ones for £10 - does this seem reasonable?
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
