I have found that Mary Janes aren't great for walking all day - they have little arch support in comparison to Cayman/Beach. I developed plantar fasciitis in one of my feet after I'd been wearing Mary Janes to walk in for a whole day. I've also found that I have to get Mary Janes in 3 sizes larger than I would normally wear, my sister got 2 sizes larger than normal. I guess everyone is different! If I was going to be on my feet at Disneyworld all day I'd definitely wear Caymans or Beach.

Do you think wearing Crocs was the cause of your plantar fasciitis, I just wonder because I've been diagnosed with it and wore crocs most of the time, mainly scutes and caymans!

I don't think so no, most of the time I wear Beach which are wider and have brilliant arch support. It was just one particular day I spent all day walking and because it was warm I wore Mary Janes, which don't have much support in them and much thinner soles. I did read online that wearing Crocs is recommended if you have plantar fasciitis, so I went back to my Beach ones and it got better fairly quickly and I haven't had it since. You can actually get some Crocs that are meant to be for people with foot problems: http://www.crocs.com/crocs-rx-relief/10003,default,pd.html?cgid=ana They look similar to Beach I think.

I recently ordered a pair of alice Crocs from the Croc website. I'm a UK size 6 normally and this is exactly what it says I ordered, but they're just too big, they slip off if I wear them.. so i'm wondering, has anyone succesfully managed to exchange their Crocs from buying them off the website? It says in their return & exchange policy that they can only give you a refund minus shipping and not an exchange. It already cost £10 for delivery and £20 for the shoes altogether so it's going to be pretty hefty spending £40 if I return them and order again..

Other than exchanging them on the website, has anyone tried exchanging them in a Crocs store? Would I need a receipt for this? I guess they wouldn't accept the invoice from the internet?

If anyone could shed any light, I'd appreciate it! I so badly want to wear these shoes for work now :-(

    Thanks x

It appears so - this is from a website "Crocs™ Ambler. These ankle boots for men are made of the same croslite™ material as original Crocs™ shoes."

However, I see no reason why women can't wear them as well. You's have to be careful of the sizing as they're usually quoted as US sizes so a man's size 9 for example is a women's size 7.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
