I'm looking for a pair of Caymans in a W8/M10, in either Sage or Army (Forest at a push) - the best I can find right now is £23 on eBay - is there anywhere cheaper?

I've been a fan of Crocs for years now and my husband has just decided that he would like a pair of Georgie wellies in black size 11 because he has foot problems. It appears that they have ben discontinued - is this true, and if so, are they being replaced by a similar design?
Incidentally if anyone knows where I can buy the above, I should be most grateful if you could let me know.
Thanks.0 -
I don't know about Georgie being discontinued (I hope not as it's the only wellie my kids can wear due to joint issues), but have you looked on here - http://www.alltheshoes.co.uk/crocs/crocs.html - there is another mans boot called Ambler that may suit - not a true wellie, but may do the job.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

Hiya. I have never owned a pair of crocs but I saw a new advert for some the other day - red pumps, so cute. 'Crocband Flats'. I found them on a website for £24.99 and free delivery but does anyone know anywhere I can get them cheaper please?
Also has anyone here worn this style before, are they comfy? How do the sizes go?£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit) - £588

On the Crocs website they have a section called 'Outlet' click on here for cheaper crocs, postage about £4.95 and they come from Holland0

I've been recommended Crocs, so thought I'd do a bit of research.
Is the Cayman the basic shoe? The cheapest I've found is Shudoo at £24.95 - can anyone do better?
I'm also looking for a pair for someone (female) who has difficulty walking and found the Mary Jane sandal at Sport Direct for £15, has anyone had any experience of these?
Thanks0 -

Mary Janes are sooooo comfy, I love mineThe Cayman are basic, much wider than the Mary Jane and less 'elegant' looking - there are those who will say that you can't use the words 'elegant' and Crocs in the same sentence (maybe I should have said 'ladylike'), but whichever, I think they are the most liberating shoes ever. I have walked miles and miles round New York in mine and never had sore feet and that takes some doing for any shoe. Last pair of Cayman I bought were from Sport Direct at £10. I take it you've looked there? If not, that's where I'd start.
You should pick ones that only touch your skin on the sole - they should have lots of room in the shoe and under the strap. Don't worry that they'll fall off, somehow they don't, even when running.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Caymans are great - they're the only footwear my kids, who all have joint and motor issues, can wear without their orthotics.
With walking problems, you do need to keep an eye on the wear though, as they can go 'bald' like tyres (which is when Crocs themselves say to replace them), or wear unevenly.
There are a some styles designed for foot problems (diabetes, circulation etc) - the RX range - so depending on the problems, they may be worth a look, although you don't tend to find them really cheap like Cayman etc.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0
