Wonder is ,this the same for Lidl "Excludes promotional products";as they,ve got lots of different types of packaging ?

So what they really mean is -
"we sell mainly British meat - unless we can sell it cheaper by sourcing it from somewhere else"

Wanted to get a couple of these yesterday when I went shopping at 6.30am after dropping DH off at work but there weren't any available! Hope they have some tomorrow when I go again tomorrow - but will leave it until afternoon when I go to pick up my DH from work!

Also want to try and get some of the cod - which again wasn't available early morning yesterday.

My local didn't have any today either, had loads yesterday but I had stocked up and no more room in freezer anyway, my brother phoned last night to ask if I could get him some so I went this morning but none left, I asked at CC desk and was told they didn't think the offer was finished but hadn't had any delivered, they have promised to phone me in morning if any come in,

Done my asda delivery and ordered 2 x 1.7 kg leg of lamb.
just got the delivery and they have sent me a diplodocus leg instead.

1 leg of lamb that weighs 4.1kg.
kept it anyway, will cook it and freeze at least half for more meals.
Just a heads up in case you think of ordering a few.

To answer my earlier query Tesco did price match today on their £5 a kg leg of lamb. This may be useful to some if Asda stocks run low.

That's really good news have heard from a couple of friends that they cant get any in Asda, so will pass this on. My local Asda still have some but other areas seem to be finished or out of stock.

Aldi have whole leg of lamb at £3.99 a kilo in today.
