Dot ComUnity Credit Union - ISA

Typical. I opened an ISA with Lloyds, as they are a big bank and should be able to move quickly to transfer my ISA from Dotcon, but I can only transfer out from another bank using the online facility, not a credit union.
I went to my branch today and they were useless. I may as well have asked my gran. I've had to book an appointment to talk with someone tomorrow. So frustrating.0 -

Excellent. I will fill that out and take it along to them this morning.
Edit: It does state it would transfer funds immediately and I can see no option to specify that I want the transfer after maturity.
I will see what they say in branch.0 -

So don't put a cross next to that 'transfer my Cash ISA immediately' statement and you should be fine. I might even be tempted to put a line through it to be absolutely clear.0 -
To be doubly sure, write on the form: Transfer upon maturity0

Must be too early in the morning. I missed that line. Thanks.0

Keep a copy of the form, too0

Anyone had recent contact with DotCom ? It all seems to have gone v. quiet of late.
I sent an e-mail to Rob on Friday but have not received any response.0 -
No, nothing.
On the subject of ISA transfers, I wouldn't use Leeds Building Society. I've not had so much as an acknowledgment for a transfer requested (not DCU) I posted on 17th April, for an account opened a couple of days earlier. It's disappeared from my online banking (they tend to only put it there briefly apparently!?!) and I cannot get through to anyone by phone. Not in a queue, just not even connecting properly.
Shocking, and no good when time is of the essence. Look elsewhere.0 -

No news here either – still waiting for the voluntary restrictions to be removed and still in ongoing discussions with the FCA etc etc. You might think the FCA might have got a little bored with these endless weekly meetings by now? They are of course now rebranding back to their old Enterprise the Business Credit Union name – change the name and hope future investors don’t connect the dots presumably?!
The facebook page still gets the regular automated updates – the latest advice is about budgeting for a wedding. Perhaps if we all informed them we needed our ISA funds back so we could pay for our families weddings they might let us have our funds back? They have also resorted to quoting from Nelson Mandela too – bizarre!

Re Leeds they had a number of competitive ISAs – some of which are now withdrawn – so I expect they just have a huge backlog to manage. I think re the transfer you want to stick with one of the big banks or maybe Nationwide who have the systems in place and can move quickly – albeit the timing is a bit academic given DCU won’t release the funds at present anyway.0
