Companies who buy your property quickly

Hi,
Has anyone had any dealings with such companies, if so how was your experience. Our flat is in a desired location, at a good price, but people aren't even viewing, let alone buying. We've tried 2 estate agents, both have been less than useless and we're getting desperate now.
Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you.

There's quite a few threads on here about them, usually they offer a higher price then drop to silly money days befor exchange. You would be much better reducing the asking price and selling it through your EA0

If people aren't even viewing then I would dispute that it's being offered at a good price. Even properties in a dire state can attract viewers if the price is right.
Find one of those quick-buy shysters and sell to them if you'd be happy to get about two-thirds of its market-price.
If all the agents in your area really are rubbish why don't you consider selling it at auction?0 -
Can you post a link for the property so the good people on here can give some advice on the listing.0

Definately post a link0

Have to agree that if people aren't viewing it has to be the price, that or else the interior is presented in such a way that it puts people off of wanting to view.
Every property in a desirable location priced sensibly will attract at least some views.
You say the ea's are less than useless & it would help if you tell us what you mean by that & also what the property market is currently like in your area. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
If you haven't tried dropping your price yet, then don't even consider one of the house buying companies!
Post a link on here if you would like some constructive help on why it's not selling and what you can do.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Well we used an online agency and moved out within 4 months - but - had to take a low offer (lost about £15) hey ho.
It all depends if you are in a hurry or not.

If your property is in a desired location, on Rightmove and Zoopla, and it's not attracting interest, then people aren't seeing it as a potentially good buy. Simple as.
There could be a few reasons for the above, but wrong price is always the biggest turn-off.
You have to be very desperate to use a quick buy company and very brave to put your property on here, but I know which I'd choose!0 -
Hi,
Thanks for all the replies. I tried to post a link, but I'm a new user so it wouldn't let me. If you go to right move, type in SR2 7LE for sale and search apartments / flats, it's the 2 bedroom flat, 38 Thornhill Gardens for £130,00. Any comments or opinions welcome0
