I am overdrawn in my Santander account my cash didn't go into my account early enough sadly. I haven't eaten for 3 days because no food in no cash = I am starving it's not even funny.
Tomorrow I get paid but, can't afford to eat. Have no help there either.

so been over drawn since 31st and santander say for every day ovr drawn charged 5.00 on top of that ( thanks a lot)

I was only over drawn by £15.00! can you believe it.

They said my statement comes in 14th april then I must wait 22 days there after to pay this debt.

I have never been overdrawn in my life. as this is the first time occurred you'd think they would say oh ok so you get paid on that day we can push your bills forwards for you. obviously not. They could have let me know I had an issue on my account but no as to bleed my dry of cash they made sure I didn't know a thing.
I told them would you like anything extra from me like blood and my organs I am hungry!

they didn't care I told them I am ill I am hungry they just put phone down on me.I am sick I am on esa I barely eat I am always in hospital and this is how they treat me.

Other people scam the system but, I am genuinely ill.

so not having food for 3 days is not funny. My bills come in go out. I have always paid my tax's rent bills etc till I got sick and hate having to rely on help its a chore. so please don't hate me for it I have paid thousands in bills in my lifetime I was always spot on with it.

as soon as this is paid off I want to switch banks I mean £15.00 over drawn and charge you £25.00 plus extras.

so after this is all cleared up with my bank I need to change banks I don't want a thing to do with them they have left me foodless and didn't even call me to let me know I wa sin the red. I found out by
a family member going to get me a loaf of bread yeh I needed £5.00 worth of food to get me through.

since no one to ask for food I am starving.

thank you Santander bet you're not starving.

Santander the bank that keeps you starving in steps 1.2.3

As a matter of priority, get food from family or friends, and/or find your local Salvation Army, Church, Charity who can point you at a food bank in your area.

As to not knowing you were in the red: did you keep a tap on how much you had in the bank and how much you spent? Did you make use of the text messaging service that Santander offer? No bank will do this for you, you have to assume control yourself.
  • i honestly find it so hard to belive that anyone could allow themselves to run out of food and not eat for 3 days, i find it even hard to belive that people do not keep track of their money and what they have going in and coming out and running totals daily.
Rabbits quite nice would you like me to shoot you one and send it too you?

Don't assume that by moving banks this problem will not recur. Try to keep a closer eye on your bank account and it's balance, don't just rely on phone banking as you may have made transactions that aren't yet showing.

Treat this as a learning lesson. I very much doubt there are any banks that'll call you immediately, if you've gone into the red. Perhaps buy some tins/packets to keep as an emergency stash. They're useful if you become unwell or the weather turns bad.

In the meantime I've heard the Salvation Army will often be able to provide basic food supplies.

I would respond but the level of abuse is unbelieveable when asking for advice here.

Killing rabbits then saying take with pinch of salt. I urge you not to post if you just want to respond negatively and abuse. I am looking for constructive advice not people looking down their nose talking down to me that isn't helpful so please keep fingers off the keyboards.
it doesn't hurt to think before you respond so rudely if it was reality you would not say it because you would be a coward it's faceless people who take up their issues online and abuse. Enough! Trolls feel free to rant below I am sure you will put energy into that then helping or doing good int his world.typical.

I do not have access to shelters or places to get food due to distance. I do not have any transport methods. No car no one to take me. I am on my own as said.I do not know anyone.

as for cash I was over drawn by 15.00 I am barely eating.

my town does not send parcels of food round and my dr's is 5 miles away from me trying to get there to get food voucher sis a bit difficult to walk there unwell isn't it while not eating.

No I did not eat for 3 days yes I was hungry!I have gone longer a week without food before!

Budgeting bit difficult when you read numbers back to front isn't it! unless someone checks all my spending then yes that happens to me. The bank knew they were informed and they don't care. Not all of us can read numbers I have issues with it they appear back to front etc to me.I am spell checking on here as well.

Ok you've been rude to me I get it, it's what people do.
as for killing rabbits that slightly extreme response. I could say a lot back to the people but, I won;t lower myself to their level of rudeness.
I basically have alot going on right now.

as for eating I have had a small stir fry today which I have to split between 2 days. so yeh I am starving! as for clothing necessities same there I don't have any half the time and I ma having to use toilet roll in the kitchen instead of kitchen roll I can't afford it.

some of us do have money issues and I am one of them.

go ahead laugh point hate me for it.

I no longer care. you all win! my mum died I lost my home was thrown out within a week evicted I am doing the best I can:mad: to try to live so seriously back off!

If you have access to a library, you should have access to a local church and/or charity that will help people with food. Also, if you have 50p and nothing to eat, you should really be using the 50p to buy food, not Internet access.

Also, have you asked in the library what support could be available locally for you?

As an aside, which library are you using that charges you for Internet access?
  • as for the rabbit i was been serious not rude, i like to live off the land once in a while and i was prepared to send you a rabbit all skinned, gutted and cut up ready to cook. How about a brace of phesants, or a nice sea bass ( i fish too )

I'd like to point out that nowhere in your opening post have you actually asked us for help or advice, this is just a rant.

Sorry but why is it the banks fault you are overdrawn and why should they help, what do you want them to do?When you ring them they don't know you from adam and they may have heard it all before.
You should know of and been aware of the banks fees when you opened the account and if you change banks who is to say you won't get in the same situation with them ???. Why don't you see if you can get a £50 overdraft just for emergencies I do it with my bank if I think I might go overdrawn one month and then when I get paid I cancel it if I don't need it.
