Hi mumoftwins. Are you happy with TSB. I'm thinking of opening an account to get the interest rate on savings? Thanks :)

Wow, lots of progress being made by lots of you. Well done all.

I haven't been able to pay off a lot recently, due to not having much money.

But today I have paid £20 into savings

I've just had a couple of good months but will be carrying on with small amounts now. Every little helps :)

WOW!!! Some amazing PADs and milestones reached in the last few days. Really good to see so many people making real progress on their debt free journeys, so encouraging for everyone else.:j

My PAD today is £12.40, more modest than some but every bit helps.:o

    I am not happy

I was concerned I might go overdrawn this weekend so phoned up santander (visa debit card purchase not on my pending) to double check. They said 'no worries - tis not on pending' - twice

It has now come up on Pending 2 days after I made the purchase..

    I am now overdrawn

just edited to say there is a £12 buffer on my account with no fee - tis not much but enough to keep going till I get more monies in my account - phew

  • Good morning fellow PADders :hello:
My PAD is £277 made up of £138.61 to MBNA and £138.39 to whatever Marbles call themselves these days please Igamogam :T

We never intended to pay off our mortgage before our debt but with a severely underperforming endowment and a rock bottom credit rating, we thought we had no chance of sorting it out. Then I found the MFW thread and started saving towards making up the shortfall and we managed it .... in fact, the shortfall wasn't quite as bad as we thought and we saved more than we needed, hence the extra payments this week. DH's marking fees are starting to come in too and we want to use it all to make an impact on debt.

Thank you for all the kind words :A
