  • Hi Eager_Elephant. I have one cat but cats have a tendency to come and say hello to me.
    Today's pad is 60p
so yet another 30 p towards cc and overdraft. This is going to take me a very long time but at least I feel like I am contributing something. I will pay off at least my cc by the end of the year!!

Need to read up on the rules - guess it has to be extra payment to a debt each day - mine will often be pence to round stuff down and hopefully ok to count it like today where I am making my due payment but adding a smidge to it? Is that ok?

We don't really have any rules here on PAD except those that TTFTM posted about noting your PAD's as large as possible to help the counter-upper.

Some people post every payment they make to credit card/loan/overdraft/catalogue/savings including minimum payment but others only post the extra payments they make.

Feel free to do it how you want and for what suits you.

No payment is ever too small - as Tesco said 'Every little helps' (except in the case of them adding extra on to their profit to look better:rotfl:)

  • New Year does bring out the debt busting and diet in me (and many others). I have a massive journey ahead and see it as that.... 'a journey'! I think making little extra payments will help. I have limited avail funds each month after paying bills etc. and so I never think it worth it but as you say 'every little helps' and it may start me on the way to snowballing properly :) Even have my jar ready for roadkill to pay off my chosen account at the end of each month. :D
