  • £51 PAD today.

Like others have been saying, I haven't seen any great deals online. So often these items have been at the same price earlier in the year, but people just panic shop because they think they're getting a bargain. I ordered myself a few bits yesterday that weren't part of Black Friday, but already were on sale.

  • I spent Black Friday at a friends wedding so no shops for me,not that I would of gone to any anyway :)

PAD today of £2.34 please EE :T
As of 24th August 2016 total money owed was
    £15,708
  • I did have a nose online, got my lad a Jawbone up for £39 delivered as he's a bit over-weight and loves his tech, seemed best deal I could find but otherwise nothing caught my eye (except the £99 xbox 360 deal which sold out in store near instantly and I had the school run to do).
PAD for yesterday was £32.82, not sure on today's - waiting for phone to charge for a bit of app banking :)

It was surprisingly easy to reduce my overdraft online, up until recently you could only increase it but now you can decrease. I thought it might take ages for them to do it (I thought they might still credit check even on a decrease).

Now I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet and pay off the other £200???

I am charged £1pd for up to 31 days so if I was in my overdraft all month the monthly APR is 10%

Hmmm - will have a think and make a decision - my concern is what if it is needed for Xmas presents but then I have £500 saved for presents, not much food to buy, another pay day before Xmas plus we get Tax Credits weekly that I am saving in a separate account. What else could I need?

    Sorry just thinking out loud!
  • PAD of £40.18 for today thank you lovelies x

You know I just had 'one of those days' yesterday :P

Fridge freezer (ancient. Gotten second hand when in debt) was playing up. Door wouldn't shut. Can't get new seals for it. (new door? £145...hmmm.) but identified the problem. Ice at the back causing the tray not to go in. So fixing that (mad time to do a defrost. Freezer full of food. LOL) and like found the freezer tray had a huge hole in it - £50 spent LOL (out of easy access savings not pad :)) And sleep pattern crazy....

So I hit the chocolate (other things happened that made it a bad day) - 35p from the shop for 100g :)....Life could be sooooo much worse.

I avoided black friday. In fact I'm avoiding town for the next 6 weeks. Just seems too stressful. Next MSE quest is getting my sim only deal reduced. I don't have a fancy smart phone. Tis just a cheapo chinese thing with fossilized android OS I got from amazon but does the job so it's a keeper till I have battery probs :). Was less than £100. Looks way more expensive than that.

So yeah tis me. Up at crazy hour and thinking 'can't make my crafts into a business as for every hour I must roughly have a break for 10-20 mins and yesterday my eyes got so tired' :(

  • Good morning fellow PADders :hello:

My PAD today is £75 between Marbles and money box please Eager_Elephant :T

I think sashanut's fab PAD will help EE meet this month's challenge :j

Sorry about the freezer Erme but looks like you have saved it. Take it easy on your eyes, have you got a natural daylight light bulb? They are a bit pricey but really help when doing crafts or other close up work

Have a super day everyone :D
