    Yes thanks to a reversal of a decision by the student loans company and my daughter receiving a very late Autumn term payment and being able to pay us back the money we have lent her to live on :j

    Now I just need to sort out my job and will be back to situation normal :wall:

    you know welcome grassgirl. I am debt free because of the simpleness (not always but we get there), addictiveness and sheer encouragement of the folk on here.

    I tried other threads/challenges on here and it was verging on cyber bullying when I did things the queen bee on those threads disagreed with. I'm debt free 2 years and still padding :). What does that say...

    Nothing to apologise, feel bad or down about GB....remember it's the little ones that count the most. It's not like we are in the heady days we had a while back of £20-30k (if not more) padded in a month by members. And even if we were your pad would be nothing to be ashamed of or down about.

    I find I pad lots at the beginning of the month then take it out by the end of the month LOL....So I reckon the reality of my PAD's is about 1/2 of what I say it is.....:( but still
