How much are you looking to spend? and whats your current mobile tariff?

Im on the 3 one plan that includes talk, text & data allowance which can be tethered.. this would allow you to tether between iphone and ipad.

The previous one was free and you can t get much better than that but alas no more ( the infamous Ovivo ) lol

Yes I ve heard of both of those so basically watch adverts and earn data for iPad and a 321 sim for iPhone. Is the latter a pay as you go or a monthly thing ? Then I would n t need this mi if would I .

How could I tether the iPhone to my iPad though if I went down that route please :)

You can also pay £3.50 for 250MB of data over a month.

I ve ordered various free sims so that when I decide I ll have them here. Just reading the info on the sims for tablets from 3 and it says £5.00 for 250MB data on a one month rolling contract does that mean I have to pay £5.00 a month pls

Samba is £3.50 for a 250MB bundle if you need more than you have collected for free.

I thought that we were writing about PAYG. How have you moved on to rolling contracts?

  • There is no perfect "light user" PAYG data deal. If you use anything other than a T-Mobile data SIM in your T-Mobile device you will need to get it unlocked and/or change settings.

If you get the MiFi unlocked you could use giffgaff (probably £5 a month when you use it). T-Mobile's phone SIM does 6 months of Internet for £20 but may not work in a dongle (it did for me for light use a while back but I wouldn't rely on it - you may have to change settings).

Try getting the device unlocked at a small shop that unlocks phones and if they can be persuaded they might also put in the settings for your Sainsbury SIM.

Why bother when you can do it yourself for under a Pound? Takes just a minute.
