I'd love to go to a creative writing class. How did you find it as I haven't found anything locally? What is it like?

Bit fed up last night. Had been meaning to treat myself to a kindle book for ages, one of the many on the subject of frugal living. Downloaded the free sample, seemed interesting, so bought the book. What a pie in the face! Not only was it a very short book but every bit of info in there I knew already! A waste of £2-50!

On the plus side, though, it shows that I probably have this economising business well and truly sorted. And I suppose there is limit to all knowledge on any subject. And it was a spendy day anyway so no harm done. As long as I don't torture myself with thinking of the million and one ways I could have spent that £2-50......now there's an idea for a book.....

That's one thing that annoys me about kindle books - its really quite hard to judge exactly how long the book is - even with a page count given.

i know what you mean about the :money: thing though - I've even tended to stop watching some of the programmes I used to enjoy (even our own Martin :o) because its all stuff I already know - or have at least already read on here.

Well work is mega busy which a) pays the bills b) means that i didn't have time to get out of the office so NSD #4 in the bag. Still need to pick up the pace a bit this month though.

Though I did have to spend £8+ on my
Inhalers since I got such a terrible cold
    And a tight chest,
and managed to get 2 on one prescription.

I'm not going to count that though as it's medical.
Also my grandparents gave me another £10 so I have £20
From them which I'm not going to count as an NSD because
They want me to use it to treat myself... So it's gift money...
    I hope that's okay.

If you regulary have 2 prescription items or more a month, it is worth you paying for the prepayment certificate. It costs £104 a year, spread over 10 months - that's £10.40 a month with two months of the year free. Compare that with paying something like £16 a month or more in over the counter prescription charges!
