I got that deal too, though I spend out £86 on two ultra lift bust gels

I have realised that I am on my last tube of face scrub, so I was wondering if people had tried any of the Clarins ones and thought they were good?

Heartbreaking isn't it. Their bravery & sense probably saved many many lives. I can't imagine that ladies pain at burying her husband and six kids on her own in one week.

I know it's so strange how some were completely unaffected, we did the walk up to the well where they left the money, if they weren't ill when they set off they probably were when they'd climbed all that way up.

An American author wrote a fictional account of the village called Year of Wonders, it's a good read.

  • and some more UU to declare:

Elemis frangipani oil mini - WNBA appreciate its got its loyal fans but the scent isnt for me. This was a PP for this month.

Boots no7 purifying mask - have another in the stash - WMBA but have lots of other masks to try first. Another PP for this month.

Garnier micellar water - WBA I loved this and think I actually prefer it to the Garnier soothing 2 in 1 make up remover. I bought on offer so have more in the stash.
    No more buying toiletries

What an interesting story about Eyam! I just looked it up on Wikipedia. There is a long list of literary references inspired by the story, which seems to be especially popular for children's and YA fantasy stories.

I have 2 INs to report:
Boots No7 face wipes and No7 lip pencil: had a voucher!

    4 UUs:
8ml sachet L'Occitane shine hair mask. Didn't see any difference to ordinary conditioner, so WNBA.
50ml Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. This is a dry oil for face and anywhere else. Skin looked amazing at first, but the effect wore off with repeated use; good but expensive so WNBA.
100ml L'Occitane Immortelle Essential Water (skin toner). Nice to use, gentle and effective, but expensive, so WNBA.
6ml No7 Protect and Perfect lip balm. Was quite effective, but didn't like the feel on my lips, so WNBA.

I have a conditioner that's been standing on it's head for about 2 weeks and can't shift the stuff from it's shoulders to the tube. Not sure how I can get it out without cutting it up, probably another 2-3 uses left if I can get it out. :( but the MSE in my wants to UU it up properly!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

  • Finally some UU's to report...

GUM hair 'double cream' conditioner :- smelt divine (californian walnut apparently) I'm not easily wowed by conditioner, probably ok for normal hair but mine is long, dry and thirsty, so not really up to the job. WNBA unless it was for DD who seemed to 'borrow' it often enough, probably due to the smell.

Salon Creative apricot facial scrub:- Pants. St Ives is still my HG so far, though I am trying to minimise products in my life so once my in stash scrubs are used up I will try switching to scrubby gloves. WNBA.

Barbara Gould soin de jour acti-hydratant:- I don't speak french so I had to get hubby to translate this for me. Some sort of moisturizer. Passed on to me by a french friend when she moved back. Seemed nick enough, smell reminded me of summer holidays for some reason. WN go all the way to France for it though.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

  • Can anyone recommend a good moisturiser for dry patches on the face that isn't too heavy. My medication has really dried out my skin and my usual moisturiser isn't doing the trick.

I occasionally get eczema under my eyes and Avene Eau Thermale rich recovery skin cream is my HG for this and between season skin. It's about £10 in Boots.

Welcome back Willowbee  Lovely to see you!

I've just one UU this weekend, Imperial Leather Bewitching shower creme, WBA lovely colour and scent

I do have an IN on its way too, Percy & Reed No Oil Oil, I can't cope without it!!! Got it off Ebay, will declare once it arrives

Feeling decidedly yukky today, have a low level migraine that's refused to shift all day - glad yesterday was a busy day so I don't feel too guilty for not getting much done today. OH starts his new job tomorrow so he is busy preparing for that. Might stretch to some ironing shortly :o

For some strange reason I don't want to work out how much of each product I have.;)

    UU's
35-36, 2 fizzo therapy bath ballistics WNBA

37, 1 snowman bath ballistic WMBA

38, Caramel bubble bar (not lush WNBA)

39, Manderin spa bath milk WNBA really did not like the scent of this, much prefer my bubble bars and ballisitics.

40, Boots cranberry shower gel WDNBA this was a Christmas present but I really can't stand the scent so I used it as bathroom cleaner. I actually prefer shower gel for cleaning the bath and sink rather than the traditional bath cleaner.

41, Dickins hair treatment mask WNBA its okay but nothing special

42, Day dream soap WNBA lovely lavender scent but from an American company so not very likely to buy from again.

43, Noriko soap WNBA this came in a gift set, I would not have bought it as I did not like the scent. This has been turned into washing powder.

44, Karma (fake) soap WNBA did not like it and it was a cheap lush copy, again this has been turned into washing powder.

45, Summer fayre soap WNBA it smelt very much od sage and reminded me of the smell of stuffing, lovely texture.

46, Big blue bath ballistic WBA love the scent but not the seaweed that it leaves all over the bath.

47, Philosophy shortbread shower gel 480ml WNBA lovely creamy lather but too sweet for me, used as bubble bath to finish.

48, Lavender massage bar WBA love the scent of lavender.

49, BS soya milk foaming powder WNBA made the water feel like silk but was bot too keen on scent.

    Now the naughty bit:

    INS
    11, Moroccan argon oil 100ml

    12-15, 4 X BS ginger shampoo 240ml a HG product for me.

16, BS devine massage oil 100ml, could not resist this as it smells of lavender.

17-31, 15 lush bubble bars, bought off a forum all discontinued ones and some of my favourites.

32, 100g lush soap (freebie with the above)

33, ultrabland again a HG product vor me and I am running low.

34-35, 2 Karma shower gel this was from the lush kitchen and I really like the karma scent

36, Nip and fab viper venom wrinkle fix 40 ml

37, Bellapiere hydrating face serum 25ml bought from TKmax, wanted to try it.

38, Vichy moisturiser 5 ml sample freebie

39-40, 2 Britney Spears perfume samples Freebies.

I have another 2 parcels due, oops will now move quietly to the naughty step.
