hope everyone is well and had a good weekend.went on a rare trip to town with DH,had our last free tea and cakes at john Lewis(wonder if they will carry on with that?)bought 3 tops using topcashback Marks voucher and gave DH a JL one as was feeling generous!
had a JL email (myJohnlewis) for freebie from Estee Launder when I asked the sa for it she asked what my beauty concerns were and when I said dry skin she said well the email stuff is so wrong for you I will give you some other stuff so ended up with two sachets of serum and a small jar of day cream then I spotted some perfume samples and got one of them tooalso got 4 sachets of divine cream from Occitanne as I filled a form in online for a code.
am now tempted by Clarins special this week.....7 samples instead of 3 and a goodie bag....I have put something in my basket but as yet not checked out!!!!0 -

Hi everyone!
Belated happy Easter! :easter_ba I hope you all received fattening chocolate instead of toiletries...and asking for egg-shaped toiletries IS cheating!
I bought a cheap heat barrier for my hair on impulse in a pound shop. I think I may live to regret it as it says 'Oil of Aloe Pro Salon Heat Protection Straightening Spray Strong Hold.'
I'm pretty sure it's not meant to be hairspray. :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Lemon and mango wrap, sounds divine! Have a lovely time.
1 (kind of) UU. I combined the remaining of my No 7 cleansing water with the dregs of the NO 7 brush cleasner, so I'm counting that as a UU as I've got one less bottle cluttering up my shelves! No more goo hoarding!

2017 UU: 50 IN: 16 TA: 2 Total: 42/78 2016 UU: 53 IN: 17 TA: 0 Total: 36/72

TA - House of Holland body butter. A gift last Christmas, I really didn't like the smell of it, and am a bit over forcing myself to use things I don't like!0

after i was picked up for the mistake of putting 2 for 3 instead of 3 for 2 i realise maybe i shouldnt have bothered posting it at all.
Sorry
ill try and only post correct useful stuff in future:o
I find all of your posts helpful and positive, maybe people need to look at the tone of their messages, so often light humor can be read as something else, i post rubbish and will continue to do so until i'm kicked off the site :rotfl: x0 -
A couple of in's that i should of reported in my quote message but i'm past trying to multitask and failing.

Hugs mrs-mp, I think this serves to show how different we all are with our beauty loves and hates, one beauty queen's stinky trash is another's HG treasure
For example…
TA #9: Estee Lauder Modern Muse sample 1.5ml; used this once and decided immediately that I smelled like my Auntie Elinor! That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's not like she whiffsbut it's not the scent for me. Plus, I got a stinking migraine the day I used it and while it may or may not be the cause (certain smells can definitely be a trigger for me), the scent will probably make me feel a bit sick from now on -- bad association. So in the bin it goes. But I know someone else on here has bought it for themselves so, horses for courses
IN #37 and #38: Tresemme Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner 750ml; my hair was much better behaved while we were on holiday but as soon I got home and used the HE Hello Hydration combination, it poofed right back up. I'll either leave the HE in the bathroom for DD and DSD to use or I'll repurpose them for bath cleaning and leg shaving. Tresemme is on two for £7 in Sainsbobs ATM which I didn't think was too pricey, plus I had £9 off a £60 shop so this took me over the spend threshold to use my voucher.
Can hear the skids killing each other next door, time to employ mean mama mode  :rotfl:0 -
It's so easy for something meant lightheartedly to be misread, this is one of the loveliest most supportive threads on MSE and long may it be so.
Speaking of making mistakes...
A correction, the Lumea from Am@zon Vine has arrived and it ISN'T SUITABLE FOR LIGHT BLONDE, RED OR WHITE BODY HAIR.
Peering at my legs, I think mine fall under dark blonde. Looking forward to trying it out, anyway.
Oh yeah... something I wanted to share with you as a giggle. Am@zon Vine offer us Viners a choice of two items from a targeted newsletter every month. The targeting is based on previous purchases, items we have shown interest in...
I wasn't surprised to be offered the Lumea and a £100 Panasonic hairdryer***
I was, however (at 56 next month and a long - term happy singly) extremely surprised to be offered 24 extra thin condoms....
***Additional giggle, we Viners like to share news of our goodies. When I posted on the Vine forum 'What does a £100 hairdryer do for that price, I wonder?' some wit posted 'Probably asks you where you're going on holiday'. :rotfl:Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
