They all sound lovely, do you sell them online? :)
    Hope you're feeling better soon.

Thank you. I do, without being too advertisey I sell through etsy at https://www.etsy.com/shop/roguejewels

I also have a Facebook page and am trying to get my head around using pinterest from a business perspective. Over the last year I have slowly but surely replaced my toiletries buying with bead buying. I have enough stock to make another 1000 jewellery pieces, I just need more hours in the day and less in the way of coughing!

You can use the newest hair removal machines on lighter hair but not on white hair, which is bad news for any elderly or prematurely grey hairies. I will report on my Lumea as soon as I've posted on Am@zon, I have to post any views there first. It won't be here until Tuesday anyway.

How good have I been?? Lakeside yesterday and I didn't buy anything!!

Went into L'occitaine and was given a little bag of goodies as I have signed up to their mailing list- lovely surprise!! Had a small tube of Shea butter hand cram, a sachet each of shampoo, conditioner & body cream plus 3 sachets of Devine cream. Plus I had a voucher for a 50ml pot of body cream.

    ooooooooo nice!

will be interested to hear how you get one with this. IME they work as long as you keep up using it, I bought the one Boots introduced a few years ago at a cost of around £250
OMG it blooming well hurts and I can't remember the last time I used it. I should try it again but the pain puts me off, shaving is so much easier/cheaper and much less pain :o I've also bought an epilator, again I haven't tried it because of the pain reports. Not very MSE I'm afraid :o
I've bought the silk epil wet and dry with shaver. Not going to lie, I only use it in the bath and if it's been a while I'll shave first, leave it a few days and pop a paracetamol first. I swear it's more psychological than anything else, but you can't beat the results vs cost for an epilator.

Does anyone know if you can now use the light machines on lighter hair? A friend went for professional hair removal but was told if could only be done on darker hair. As I'm ridiculously fair with white blonde type hair, I didn't think it could work on me.

I bought the NoNo they had on TSV about a month ago, even on the highest setting I can't even feel it working yet it does. I have dark hair and fair skin and I've had laser in the past which I've definitely felt, so it's not as if my skin is numb or anything :rotfl:

It doesn't use light so it says it's suitable for all hair types and QVC give you 90 days to try it out, so I've still got another two months before I need to decide whether to keep it.

Hope everyone is having a lovely extended weekend.

    I have uu

No7 Bubble Bath - love this and I have another in the stash and when that is used I will look to buy again in autumn.

Eve Lom Rescue Mask - this was a mini tube and it was nice but I don't think I need to pay Eve Lom prices when there are other masks I really like which do a good job for less money.

Nuxe Body Fondant Shower Gel - 30ml - this smelled nice, was soap free and bubbled really well but it wasn't enough of a wow to make me seek it out.

    Hola, Beauty Queens :hello:

Got back from hols around lunchtime, if you haven't been to Barcelona then I strongly suggest you all should. Be prepared for an expensive trip though, we had dinner at a tapas bar just off La Ramblas where the dishes were around 5€ each, so good value, and I had a couple of G&Ts alongside. DH baulked at the bill when it arrived and I soon understod why -- 12.95€ for a gin and tonic  :faint:  They were delicious but I'm not sure they were the-same-price-as-two-whole-bottles-of-gin-delicious. Thankfully, the next night we discovered a bar )literally next door to our hotel) which did the best mojitos for 4€

I love Barcelona too FizzWhizz. Have visited there twice. We first went for MrM's 40th birthday and stayed just off Las Ramblas. We enjoy having a meal at Port Vell near the harbour. I love Parc Guell and also the Montjuic area. We visited again on our last cruise and took in a tour of Neu Camp. I remember buying some shower gel and body lotion from Sephora last time we were there.

    Oooo well done!

Well I was in Sainsbury's and most of their pants are sold in packs of 5 so it wasn't too difficult! 25% off TU until Monday as well :money:

I've taken advantage of that sale too and bought some exercise gear. Now need to get motivated. Did do some Maracattack last Friday but none since.

L'oreal Exfotonic - WBA if I was going to buy body scrubs again, very scrubby, nice smell and lasted ages, thanks VALM for the recommendation.

You're welcome. I in turn got the recommendation from this thread. Like you say it lasts ages - a little does go a very long way.

Went to Trafford Centre on Saturday for prom shoes for Emma. So pleased to find a pair of Kurt Geigers reduced from £60.00 to £19.00! Sadly can't afford the matching handbag which is £69.00! Have said if I see it massively reduced like the shoes I'll buy it for her. Anyway ended up in Boots getting party heels and an insole for one of the shoes as it's slightly bigger and needless to say came away with other things but none for me. Did also go in for essentials ie sanitary products but also then got Emma a No 7 mascara - the new one in red packaging, eyeliner and bronzer. When we got to the till was told that there was a lucky dip GWP for the mascara so Emma got another eyeliner. There were no promotional signs for this and the No 7 SA didn't even mention it so may be worth asking about. The other items on offer were a lipgloss or blush.

Meant to add that once home Emma tried her prom dress and shoes on together however won't wear her hair up as she has back acne. After researching online I'm trying applying Porridge soap to her back in the shower and spraying her back with sea salt water afterwards. Am hoping to see some improvement with these methods. Anyone have any other recommendations just in case.

Just posting further to comment that I'm now not sure about the new OPI Kermit colour. In most light it looks a lovely frosty mauve colour but then in direct sunlight it looks like a pukey green! Think I'll have to apply it to my toes in future. Have just taken it off and replaced it with OPI You Callin Me Lyre which I'm going to apply Rose of Light on top of.

Have tickets booked this afternoon for the new Spiderman film and then eating tea at Nandos. Will be good from tomorrow onwards.
