A correction, the Lumea from Am@zon Vine has arrived and it ISN'T SUITABLE FOR LIGHT BLONDE, RED OR WHITE BODY HAIR.
Peering at my legs, I think mine fall under dark blonde. Looking forward to trying it out, anyway.
There are a few of us dark haired, pale skinned ladies that would snap this up, oh to be hair free on my wedding day.....*off to do some more amazon reviews*
Fizz i fall under all of those categoriesespecially the pretty things, i've just looked at superdrugs make up range for the third time today, i think next time i'll crack
I've been sat for the last few days wondering if it's ok to take back my EL purchases and free gifts?? i hate taking things back but now i've finished my EL sample i'm not finding it as nice as the MAC foundation i have0 -
Evening all
Still awaiting the refund from Bodyshop for the returned goods grrr:mad:. Really quite surprised by the lack of customer services from them, as a brand they have now hit rock bottom on my wish list. Have opened a paypal dispute claim to try to resolve... here's hoping.
Any way rant over onto better things... the UUs:rotfl: which will hopefully save me from the naughty step for the rest of the month.
Chique shaving gel WNBA stash relic (can started to rust....opps) prefer to use conditioner to shave my legs with these days as less messy.
Spa Soothing body gel WNBA was gifted from a woolworths gift set many moons ago was designed to be a body lotion but after an inspired bath melt idea i was shocked by the bubbles it produced when i added it to my bath water.
Morrisons Mouthwash WBA Cheap cheerful not too harsh flavour
wise.
Cotton Wool Pleat WBA & have earlier this year. Cheaper than pads and i can break off a little or lot depending on task.
Cien Handwash WBA but only after I've used the mountain of hand soaps in the collection.
Happy Bubbles all0 -
More UU's, seem to be steaming through them this month!
1) Toni and guy leave in conditioner - been using this product up for years, smells great but WNBA for myself because don't really need it
2) Bb thickening hairspray mini- got free with a mag, really unimpressed didn't do anything for me at all won't be wasting money on full size!
3 L'oreal matte and messy salt spray- enjoyed this lasted ages, however I'm sort of in love with the TXT spray by loreal so will probably just buy that one in future.
Also hit pan on one of the eyeshadows I've been using up today which was quite exciting, still got lots to go. Actually falling back in love with it after disliking it for so long. Always the way!Frugal Student!!!0 -
Hi Laura
We are all self-confessed beauty addicts, make a list of everything you own (many post them here, just so we can ogle, ooh and aah), see where your 'problem' areas are and pledge to try your very bestest to use up as many products as you can before buying new ones.
Some of us are guilty of saving things for 'best' so they languish unloved in a drawer or cupboard *nods sagely*, some are bargain addicts and can't seem to say no to a good price, no matter how many similar products we already have *puts hand up sheepishly*, some get bored halfway though a product resulting in tonnes of half-used and long forgotten stuff cluttering up the place *raises other hand, looks guilty* and some… well, we just love all the pretties so much, we can't say no *realises no hands left*
Guilty as charged, m'lud :rotfl:
Keep track of the products you use up, give away, chuck out or buy/are gifted and make sure you let us all know how you're getting on!
Guilty on most of those.... A recidivist too :eek::eek:0 -
UU's Hoorah!!!
skin wisdom face mask, it's like pva on your face and peels off wicked cool but i don't like masks, they upset my face so i won't be re-buying
Urban retreat - The Moisturiser, nice enough but it was a little thin for a daily, i'd use it again but wouldn't go out of my way to buy
Wilkos cocoa hand lotion, ergh! nasty stuff, it's so strong and sickly, i WNBA ever, i'd TA if i come across anymore
Lush Butterball - nice bomb and leaves my skin nice but a little greasy for me, wmba
got 2/3 splutters on the go so hopefully a few more before the months out
I'm staying on the naughty step until my outs are bigger than my in's in a single month0 -
Wow, this is moving way to fast to keep up with.
Have a sickly Collie. On drugs and his spa day is on hold for another week or so to get more antibiotics in his system.
21. TA -- Doris Dalton Mascara. It had a skinny wand type brush that just doesn't work for me. It was also clumping bits off into the sink.
22. UU -- St. Ives Apricot Scrub. 30ml travel size. Will buy again full size when I'm done with all the sample sizes.
23. UU -- Healing Garden Green Tea Body Spray. 50 mls. Never again. I forced myself to use this and I really don't know why. I think because we're not supposed to wear scented products to work and this didn't smell like much.
24. TA -- Pink Grapefruit Body Spray. 50mls. Can't remember who made it but it didn't smell like grapefruit, more sickly sweet.
Life is too short to use stuff that we don't like. So I've decided to offer it around various sons girlfriends and if they don't want it, it's out.
Only bought a nailpolish for $2. It's a lovely Revlon Fast Dry shade called Violet. Thought it looked springlike. Got my hair trimmed and coloured today and my hairdresser gave me a Paul Mitchell Shampoo for colour treated hair. I won't have to buy shampoo again for a while. Is it ungrateful of me to wish she'd toss in a conditioner?
Off to Calgary on Friday to visit the outlet mall there. I hope to behave.0 -
I posted a TA earlier, but unfortunately just as I hit 'post' the internet stopped working, and wouldn't start again for the next 5 hours!
TA a tub of House of Holland body butter. It was a gift 2 years ago, I don't like the smell and have decided it's just not worth forcing myself to use a product I don't like.0 -

Just goes to show how different people like different things, I have the L'Oreal matte and messy spray and I hate it with a passion! The spray bottle has broken so instead of spraying nicely over my hair it just sort of...spits into it leaving hard patches. And it stinks of alcohol! What makes you like the TXT one?
1 UU: Lush Celebration body lotion. This can't have been a full size, it only lasted me a few applications. WNBA, it smelt like the orange medicine you used to have as a kid.No more goo hoarding!
2018 UU: 9 IN: 1 TA: 0 Total: 58/67
2017 UU: 50 IN: 16 TA: 2 Total: 42/78 2016 UU: 53 IN: 17 TA: 0 Total: 36/72

is this for a horse? :rotfl::D (I find normal shampoo works just as well and a fraction of the price :T)
And there was me wondering why it had a picture of a horse on the front;)
I suppose buying from my local farm supply shop should have been a clue. Have you tried it asset as you seem to know the price? What did you think?

I saw some of you brought some of the boots extract shampoo?
How was it, I will need some shampoo as my tressmee is going to run out soon, thought for 98p for 400ml it seemed a good price but just thought I would check with you guys that have tried it first!
I've not tried this,I have the Boots Botanics shampoo and like that as a shampoo. I also really like the Boots Extracts range of body butters and shower gels so at that price is worth a try. (I didn't know there was an Extrats shampoo, but since being off work don't go to Boots in my lunch hour any more :rotfl:)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0
