Apparently China are considering a ban on animal testing from June of this year so that will be good news!Never say never0

Ah, sorry, not a ban but they may be changing the law there so that testing is not mandatory. Just been GooglingNever say never0

Anyone got any recommendations for exfoliating toners, please? I've read Caroline Hirons views on the subject but I'm hoping someone has a budget-friendly recommendation, anything in the sub-£15 region would be good.
Have hit an awkward moment in stash-reducing, my face wash in the shower is spluttering but I don't have one to replace it here, but I know I have several at my mum's where I'll be in just under two weeks! Need to keep it going!New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Oopsie, I forgot I also had 3 Barry M nail polish ins. One is the colour 'birthday' a pink glitter, not usually my scene at all but I love it! The others are a light blue 'silk effect' (I think) and one of the mermaid glittersNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80

I am using Pixi Glow Tonic, obtainable by internet if you don't live in London, currently priced and in stock @£16 + P&P 250ml

I did a half face comparison for just over a week with Clarins Exfoliating Gentle Brightening Toner £25 125ml, but cheaper from some sources (may be plus P&P), I found no difference on my mature, slightly dry sensitive skin.
These are the only 2 that I have tried, except for Alph-H Liquid Gold, used as a treatment 3 times per week. HTH:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
I would look for something very mild to cleanse your face rather than buy another face wash when you have others, SarahB1989.
Do you have any mild body lotions or baby lotion that would do the job nicely? Or a mild soap/shower gel?
Actually, that's given me an idea.
I bought some intimate wash from Avon to use with my portable bidet, but I keep forgetting to use it, warm water being safest and very effective in that area, plus not needing to be rinsed off.
It is very mild stuff, it's probably fine for use on the face.
Just have to overcome a bit of a mental block on the idea, perhaps....Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
I bought a bottle of this shampoo today from Boots as it was on offer. I'm really not liking the Naked one that we're using at the moment. Don't like the smell of it and it doesn't make my hair feel clean.
Hope you get on well with it ! My hair has felt really silky all day
UU a bottle of l'oreal true match foundation, had already bought a new bottle and reported it on here in anticipation so that one will be opened in the morningFrugal Student!!!0 -

I've just spent on £60 amazon on more bitsi'm having a really down week and can't seem to stop spending for the sake of it.
It's hard since i won a £10 paypal credit, then a £50 amazon credit then another £5 amazon credit and every time i've spent a little over so my bank account is decreasing.0 -
I have the undress me too palette as I wasn't sure about getting naked 2 as I already have naked and the colours are colder so I didn't think I liked it so much.
I actually love the colours and can make some nice subtle looks with it that are great for work.
It doesn't last anything like as long as urban decay but with primer on they aren't dissimilar. It's much flakier. So if I use the mua I tend to do my eyes before my foundation as I'm having to wipe eyeshadow off vmy cheeks. Not an issue with urban decay, I've had it about 2 weeks and some of the shades already look nearly as worn as my naked palette which I think I've had at least 18 months but whether it would get used up 9 times as quickly which is the price difference is debatable.
If it was special occasion makeup I'd def splurge and go urban decay but the mua is definitely useable for work as is their eye primer. It's not as good as the urban decay one but it's about 9 times cheaper again.
I really like mua lipsticks they are very moisturising and a bargain for £1 I think I like them as much as most other more expensive brands
Can any one recommend me a decently priced waterproof mascara. I don't like the new Barry m one it's more clumpy than before.0 -
Hi all!
Another UU: Clinique Liquid Facial Soap (30ml sample).
T'was really good. I've kept it in my travel bag for ages to use whenever I go away as it's reliably good, but it got towards the end and there was no point taking it any more. Loved it, though, will try to find something a little cheaper to buy instead as I think it's quite expensive, although it's always there if I need it.
Hope you are all well. My computer has been out of commission for ages so I have to write and run as I have LOADS to catch up with! Please call me 'Pickle'
