Not for Club Lloyds (I don't have any Lloyds accounts), but it happened on my Halifax Reward. It went through on the second attempt for me (which I did on advice from them, as they were unable to complete and progress the application over the phone.) Had it happened a second time, then I'd have gone to branch.
The incomplete application left a credit search, so as you may have 6-7, I'd advise checking your credit report and approaching them to remove the searches if appropriate (due to the number of them.) If you have 6-7, then your application may be declined because of their own searches if you go to apply in branch. It'd probably have to be a fresh application in branch too.0 -
I moved mine from Santander to Lloyds this month as I moved our bills to the joint account so I wasn't getting enough cashback from 123 to cover the £5
The only pity is I've not earned interest for the last 10 days as I schedueled my move for after my Direct Debits had processed for the month so I won't fulfil the requirements (I will have paid in enough so I shouldn't be charged the £10)
Either way happy with the 6 cinema tickets.
Will see how it goes as I liked Santander as a bank but their additional charges drove me away. I paid £24 for the credit card in September so that will be going this summer0 -
Anyone else having difficulties applying? I'm getting:
There's a problem...
Unfortunately there has been a technical problem. This transaction has not been completed.
Tried several times over last week using 3 different browsers...0 -

Halifax is the same, 6 weeks ongoing. I gave up trying to open up another savings account, even when logged in or out to online banking thinking that might help. Nope.
I think a phonecall may be your way forward.
Voda and Lloyds software seems to be a bit OFF shall we say ?
I wonder if Oracle is involved with both ?
It is more secure to have a staff member fill out the application on their pc internally anyhowSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
I did have a problem on Chrome, but was fine with Internet Explorer. Although as youve said you've tried 3, then I'm not sure what the problem is.How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0
