Orange - downgrade?
Comments

You can but ask. But since the last few months is when they start to earn some profit from a 24m contract, your chances are fairly minimal. Better odds about 2 months out maybe. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

A week ago you wanted to downgrade to save money regardless of the allowances and to cancel the contract later this year when it comes to the end.
Today cancelling the contract now and moving to giffgaff suddenly became your main priority regardless of the extra costs.
Sorry, but this makes no sense to me.0 -

Without the aid of a crystal ball, no. No one knows if you will be offered a discretionary downgrade, or on what terms.
The verdict on here is that you probably won't.
But, since you have nothing to lose, why don't you call Horange and ask them?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
