Thanks for the new challenge Kat, I'm in. We have a holiday planned for April and another week with me and the kids to be amused so I will be budgeting carefully with them and DH for that. I like the kids to be involved in the budget for holidays at home or away to teach them how not be in my situation in the future.

If we don't have to post everday then can I be added please.

I just didn't want to rip the piddle by agreeing to the challenge when I knew I couldn't abide by the posting everyday rule. Especially when it seemed like it was going to be quite an important rule.
    :embarasse

But I will try to post as much as I can, I will be missing in action at the end of the month. However, we come back on the 30th so I will be able to write a finishing up post.

My Goal for April is to simply believe I have the strength to see this through! I have felt myself falter on a couple of occasions, telling myself, i'm being unrealistic and too strict, the minute a bit of discomfort hits. Well, my goal simply is 'I'm not giving in'. As boring as it sounds, this is becoming harder to tell myself lately. So, simple, self belief, is my goal for this month! I will do this :j I will love myself enough, to not live like this anymore. This time next year, I will be counting down the hours to my debt freedom :j

    You have all been numbered!!

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".
  • Count me in please! Thanks for another fab challenge Kat :)

Was hoping for a super strict challenge this month, so going to be quite hard on myself. 5 months til payday, need to minimise what I add to the debt, and cannot run the risk of needing to ask family for more money in a few months time as they already think I can't deal with money sensibly.

    1. There is exactly the amount needed to fulfil each budget and nothing more available in my current account. No moving any money into it.
    2. No coffee shop visits unless it's free.
    3. Declutter at least 15 items.
    4. £3 to food bank.
    5. No using credit card at all. Going to pay off what's on it now as direct debit isn't til end of the month.
    6. 10 exercise sessions (actual proper lyrca-wearing exercise. Walking doesn't count).
New graduate trying to get debt-free.
    Make £5/day challenge: August £84.08/155
    I owe £5400 (plus £
