The poster who mentioned the "Limara" ad; thanks for putting the singer's name in your post. I'd forgotten all about that until I read this thread, I used to buy Limara just because I loved that song!

One of my favorite adverts from the 80's was the Maxell Tapes advert featuring Peter Murphy from Bauhaus - 'Maxell break the sound barrier'.

I like the Argos adverts with the aliens. Favourite one was a couple of years ago when one of them said "As conundrums go, it's right up there with Justin Bieber and Eggnog."
