  • Oh, and Kia-Ora, 'too orangey for crows, it's just for me and my dog'
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • I liked the one where he gives his girlfriend his dinner after the dog's been at it, but I can't remember what it was now.

I used to like this too.

'Wake up in the morning wanting some breakfast; What Margerine do I spread on my bread; Ohhhhh Ohhhhhhhhh, Vitalite; Thats Right.' From 1993 advert.

the red car and the blue car had a race
all red wants to do is stuff his face
    he eats everything he sees
    from trucks to prickly trees
but good old blue he took the milky way
he's looking for a chocolate treat
    fluffy and light
cos he knows it won't spoil his app-e-tite
    mm mm MMMM!
oh no! the bridge has gone, poor old red just can't carry on
but good old blue, he took the milky way

Reading that I could see that ad clear as day in my head :D:D

You just took me back to being a small child!
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o
  • i remember one from when i was a child- sometime in the 80s, i think this was. it was basically all about keeping your chocolate in the fridge in the hot weather :rotfl: the jingle was something like:

Bounty and Marathon, on a summer's day
    From the fridge!
    KitKat, Topic and Milky Way
All of your favourites, deliciously cool
    Straight from the fridge
    That's the summertime ruuuuuuuuuuuuule

all accompanied by visuals of people smiling and clutching chocolate bars. i brought this advert up in work last summer- nobody remembered it. please tell me someone here remembers this one??

Only the crumbliest, Flake-iest chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted before.

A dear friend of mine sang on one of the earlier flake ads, now she is no longer with us they make me cry!

Woolworths Christmas ad 1981 - 'have a cracking Christmas at Woolworths' - guaranteed to get stuck in the brain.

Limara bodyspray ad 1981/2 - 'remember my name' - sung by Stevie Lange.

Cadbury ad from around mid 70's - 'everyone's a fruit and nutcase'.

I will be back with more, love old ads, also (and this is sad) I like watching the regional closedowns before it all went 24/7 at the end of the 80's. A website called TV Ark has a lot of this old stuff.

Cant remember all the words. Also, very old

You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

Another vote for the Tango man.

Also, Virgin Radio...tune in or next time he's naked.

I also love the John West ad where the guy kicks the brown stuff out of a bear for his salmon.

The kitkat advert where the guy waits all day for the Pandas to come out, turns his back to eat his kitkat and the pandas appear on rollerskates.
