Do you ever stock pile on items when you see them on offer?

Hands up.....we have very limited space, but that doesnt really stop me. I had a years supply of hairspray under the bed - Pretty sure that somewhere under the bed some more bath supplies are lurking - really must move some boxes!!!0

Hi all, Have had a good giggle reading through these posts. I've showed Hubby so he can see I'm not the only one.
Our old house, (old victorian terrace) had a huge pantry, where we used to store food etc, know what you mean about the floor being cold in there. Ours had old quarry tiles on the floor and it was freezing in there.
New flat hasn't got much storage, so I've got god knows how many packs of washing powder under the sink and some under the bed too :rotfl: !!
Oh well, at least we'll have clean clothes for the next gzillion years lol

I love coffee - but only decent proper ground stuff. The asda special type was on BOGOF ages ago and I bought 40 bags of it. DH was going mad at me (I think he was embarrassed) but I only have 5 bags left now and it hasn't been on offer since. I make a big point of saying how we're going to have to pay full price for it now and he should have let me buy more.
If I see something on offer that I use a lot I'll go overboard and stockpile it but it does save so much money0 -
I been doing it for years on BOGOF. Didn't have a lot of space in last house so stored non perishable items in the shed in large plastic containers, things like tins, bottle of shampoo.
Moved house to a bigger house now and just started storing again, but we need to get some bigger shelves up in the garage.0 -
I do somtimes, but only buy one item, such as I bought two boxes of washing powder from the co-op on bogof at the time when I didn't actually need any.
It was that long ago that I bet the offer has come around again
The week before I'd bought a big box of persil which was on offer.0 -

I often find the more I buy, the more that gets used.
Amazing how long a toilet roll can last when you know it's the last one.0 -
i do it all the time os long as its stuff i know we will use and it wont go off
i've got boxes and boxes of toiletries under the bed i got using coupons in tesco recently, just comming to the end of my washing powder stash bought when on offer and with 50% extra free. oh found 12 pack loo rolls in back of airing cupbord last week that were bought in bulk in jan.Lead us not into temptation...

guilty as charged
just stocked up on Original Source Shower Gels from Tescos - reduced to 99p each and had a £1.25 voucher off a £5 spend - so I bought 6it is the only shower gel that we use and so it will last a few months by which time I hope it is on offer again.
I got a brilliant offer on sanitary towels back in January so again stock piled - I think we are just coming to the end of them so will have to look around for more bargains
I would only stock up on things that we use though. I buy my cleansers and moisturisers off the internet and buy 3 of each at a time for the discounts offered.
I think thats the lot :cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -

i generally only stock up on the items that i know we shall always use and that i feel is a realy bargin.
tesco recelty had ambrosia custand on bogof. so i bought i think 20 tin's. we love this custard but we only have it when it is on offer.0
