Then that ticket should be the subject of a complaint to the BPA. If you were told the appeal would effectively 'cover/freeze' a second ticket that you'd been unaware of, then they needed to send 2 POPLA codes because the appeals process is not complete by any means. BPA email address is in the NEWBIES thread, post #6 of the sticky.

    Next steps.

I've now received a letter from debt recovery plus ltd for the first invoice at the sum of £160.

Should I contact the aforementioned company and state the appeal is currently in the hands of POPLA or just ignore any correspondence for the time being?

Report the PPC to the BPA for every instance where they step away from what the BPA Code of Practice says. When a POPLA appeal is happening they have to 'stop work' on the scam.

As I thought my initial appeal was rejected as it was late owing to advice stupidly taken from ukpc regarding it being held until my second invoice had been reviewed.

Now the initial invoice is with debt collectors drpl and they're demanding money.

What's my stance as nobody seems to listen they just want the obscured some of cash for being parked in my own space

all explained in the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the forum

post #24 also told you exactly what to do as well , as did post #4 and #6 too

UKPC can issue a POPLA code at any time if they wanted too, but those ASTONS cost a lot of money to run ;)

I can't explain enough how thankful I am for the advice yet this is nothing I am familiar with and my worry is evident in my posts.

I assume ppc are UKPC who issued the invoice but the matter is now with DRPL.

Don't get anxious, get angry . It's your parking space, you've paid for the right to park in it, so don't let these scammers try to bully money out of you for doing what you have a perfect right to do.
