    Decent PSU £35 - 40

Windows 7 OEM £70 (i don't know where you can get it cheaper)

GPU - He original ask for same level of graphic with Xbox or PS4, which would be around 7850/ 7870 level. It would cost around £100.

well chilllblast will build me the AMD fx 6300, 270x , with OS and 2 year collect + return warranty for £550

    or the below for £750

Zalman Z3 Case in Black or White
Intel Core i5 4670K Processor overclocked to up to 4.3GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
    Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Motherboard
    AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB Graphics Card
    8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 Memory
1000GB SATA SSHD 7200rpm Hybrid Drive
    600watt FSP PSU
    Onboard High Definition Audio
    Windows 8.1

really tempted to get the £750 as i reckon it will give me significant more years .. Also anyone know if the gtx 770 would be worth the extra £20 on this price?

Get 8.9 instead of 8.5 not sure how much better that means it is though?

    http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-280X-vs-GeForce-GTX-770

The system is overclocked on the CPU is this a bad thing will it wear out quicker? the overclocking is no extra costs and is optional ..

You will end up £460 anyway...

You would better build one yourself and get quality component for the small spending.

Have you consider getting second hand on ebay/ grumtree?

yea i did consider this but then realized it has prob been ragged to death mining

then i read these oh the confusion

    http://www.wired.com/2013/11/high-low-gaming-pcs/

    http://www.techradar.com/news/computing/pc/can-a-300-gaming-pc-compare-to-a-3-000-one-1071338

had another though of getting the cheaper system then maybe in 4-5 years time i could put the extra £200 i am saving now towards a new graphics card which would kick the 280x !!!...

This has been the most tricky purchase in a long time
