yea i kept thinking ill just stretch my budget a bit more to get a component which is a little bit better and kept going on like that until i ended up at £750  think if your not careful you just keep going and going and going to get that component which is a slight performance boost
but if i can build a PC which will do photo editing , watch HD video and play games at the same quality as XBOX one /PS4 for £530 tops ill be a happy chap! (know this is over £400 in title but i am happy if it does what i need at that price)0 -

Hello
what do you think of this guys
http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/barebones/bb-546708a.html
i can get the 280x for £169
windows 8.1 for £71
above is only £414
bringing in the total to £654...
would the PSU be enough at 500w and how do i know if the GPU would fit in the case? Would i just put the GPU into the motherboard and then install the OS?
stretching my budget yet again but i am okay with it as this would seem to be more bang for buck ..
thanks0 -

Thanks for all your help Cisco
Starting to wonder if it is just better to get a bog standard laptop or desktop , a monitor and pre owned xbox 360 as the console will always be able to play all the games wont it as Microsoft will design them to work on it .. that would all come to under £500
Decisions i just carnt make them haha0 -
OK, have resisted until now...but look at this:-
http://www.ebuyer.com/579784-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7873-1213
got it for one of my Mini-Guns for xmas, plays CoD:Ghosts on normal/med resolution no problem. Add £100 fro bigger PSU and HD7770 or slightly higher and you should have a machine to suit your needs and budget...run it on Win7 and away you go......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
oh, and it's £250, plus £100 for gfx and psu, so £350 - under budget (unless you need to buy Win7, which will take it to £400ish
)

you need to change the psu if you add video card.
You will end up £460 anyway...
You would better build one yourself and get quality component for the small spending.
Have you consider getting second hand on ebay/ grumtree?0
