i refuse to put underwear out on the line but i do put clothes out so tumble dryer isn't on for long
I will now confess to only ever using the tumble drier! In my defence, we didn't have a line at our old flat and haven't long moved, so I'm hoping to get a line of some description in the next couple of weeks and stop paying for the machine during the summer :j
In the main though, I see it along the same lines as some people see ironing. If the machine does it cheaper than my/DH's hourly rate, and is guaranteed (unlike our sunshine ), then it's a better use of our money and saves me from worrying when stuck at work that the laundry is actually getting wetter outside instead of drier!0 -

Don't worry. As everyone knows on here, the written word doesn't translate as well sometimes compared to talking face to face. But i hope no-one is offended about spelling and the mickey taking - just harmless banter
However, that translates well enough- you did make me laugh. save it for an hour nerfy

he rules the roast in his house and a major part of him not liking coming up here is the fact certain things are expected of him.
my 5 year old puts his own rubbish in the bin, helps put his laundry away, will tidy up, do homework etc. Every tiny thing you ask step son to do it a 20 minute battle ending in an argument. It took him 20 mins to wipe up a tiny spill he made, but I didn't crack and he done it (in the end) He knows I can't really punish him in any way. He is getting better though and it's becoming less of a battle.I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:
