Had to have a little wry smile on Sunday when my local T had loads of ES Amaretto on top shelf with yellow 'Known Overstock' label on them :whistle::whistle:

Are they not all full price now?

No, you wouldn't want/can't have 6 FD accounts. Think you mean TSB Classic Plus as that's the only account that requires £500pm and has a £2K limit.

You can open 2 individual each and 2 joint. You can't set up a DD from Reward to TSB, you either have to use a 'proper' DD or set one up to yourself via a savings account/paypal etc

    As a side point...

...does the initial £5000 deposit into the Lloyds account count as your monthly £1500 deposit? I deposited the £5000 on 1/4/14.

Gosh my head is spinning with all these savings things.
Is it right that I can open 6 FD current accounts and put £2000 in each and have to put in £500 a month in each one for a moment and then will get 5% interest

Also would setting up DD from a halifax reward account to feed the FD account(s), does that count as a DD to get the £5 a month reward?

    tia :)

It was New TSB account, 2each for you, your oh and 2 joints...info here :D

New TSB account: how to make £600 a year

TSB has hit the headlines with the launch of its new Plus current account promising 5% interest on balances of £2,000, worth £100 a year, but a Moneywise investigation has found how couples can get six times that.

I need to move my son's account. His is something like .01% at the mo. I normally pay in £50 a month. just seen this and I thought it might be worth it for the 3 months? What do think

I've got my quotes from my buildings insurance - just need to check something from home before I go ahead.

then i sent a stinking complaint letter to a well known bar/restaurant - they messed up afternoon tea for us in nov, so i got a freebie with vouchers. went back in a few weeks ago and it was just as bad. So i complained again, telling them off but also stating I'm not doing another terrible afternoon tea. Their portions were tiny, less that one slice of bread per person  I thought my letter was quite funny :D will see what their response is:rotfl:

just had a laugh in the sains local
2 packs of deep pan pizzas in four cheese or pepperoni were £1 a pack or two packs for £3. luckily the offer didnt kick in at the till but the math made me smile.

i know the government are trying to discourage food waste by stopping shops from bogof type offers but charging you extra for bulk buying is a little steep:rotfl:
