IN this case the pack was marked with a higher £/kg than it should have been but the PP system isn't to know this

You can use this to your advantage if you know what you're doing

ive done it to my advantage before (deliberately) but I cant remember how I know an offer had finished/or started at the time and the one I got was a different price pre k than the new stock.
I think it was half price, new stock went to full price. so I got the old stock and it compared to half price in sainsbob. so overall I got it for 25% off the new stock.
