As the weekend draws to a close ....
There are not many certainties in this life, but one thing I CAN predict - despite numerous shopping opportunities all weekend, DS2 will wait until he is absolutely sure the shops are closed before telling us he needs cookery ingredients for the next morning :)

Thanks Elsie :) unfortunately neither cakes were at my store, only the smaller versions :( was looking forward to the lemon cake too :(

Another spider phobic here although I'm not so bad as I used to be. I'm a bit strange really as sometimes I can deal with them. I'll catch them in a glass and put outside. I can do this if I'm feeling calm but if I'm having a stressful time I can't deal with them and just Hoover them up :(

Another thing I do is tell myself I haven't seen one and forget it and they usually disappear :) OH would be furious if he knew about me doing this, he's more scared than me :D

Evangeline - was it you who was going to have a moan at Asda re the soap owder being charged at full price ?

Also loving the sound of the new F1 engines.

Granted, they are nothing like the high pitch whine of the 2.4L V8s.

But the power a 1.6L turbo V6 can produce...wow...hitting 200+ mph. Can you imagine the top speed in Monza?! 225? 230?!

I love the sound the new engines make; particularly on the downshift...that hissing sound. Oooooh nice.

    What do other people think?

    A load of poop....

Sorry buyitall but :rotfl: DD3 used to do similar, I would get back from the whoopsie shopping and settle down for the night and about 11.30pm would get I need what we didn't have for the next morning.

Would have to get up early to get it. :(

    Avs M
    1 x ASDA Chicken & Vegetable Pies (4 per pack - 624g)£2.00£1.46

Typical that they are now comparing this weekend, as I bought them a couple of weeks ago and got an N/A vs M. And typical that I find out tonight way late in the day again to do anything regarding it. The pies turned out to be not that large either - I still prefer Bird's Eye Chicken Pies even though they currently work out more expensive:eek:.

Good evening btw!:) I'm not as moany as this post probably reads:D.
