I was behind a lady in A who spent a fortune on reduced plants in pots. Some of them were lovely, wooden trugs, watering cans etc .....all reduced to 50p. After I paid for my shopping I asked......what looked like the manager.... Maroon v necked lambswool jumper:)....where this stuff was hiding.

He said that this particular lady had bought EVERYTHING that was reduced and that they'd had their eye on her for a long time:rotfl:

Thank goodness he didnt seem to recognise me:)

Also loving the sound of the new F1 engines.

Granted, they are nothing like the high pitch whine of the 2.4L V8s.

But the power a 1.6L turbo V6 can produce...wow...hitting 200+ mph. Can you imagine the top speed in Monza?! 225? 230?!

I love the sound the new engines make; particularly on the downshift...that hissing sound. Oooooh nice.
