My OH cleaned the greenhouse out earlier and found an absolute monster of a spider in there :eek: I'd put a pic up but I know a lot of people don't like them....including me!! I'm not usually cruel to spiders but Im afraid Henry the Hoover had that one as none of us were brave enough to evict it!

Poor spider I don't mind them I would have evicted it

Well my OH isn't usually phased by spiders, he doesn't mind picking them up. But this really was a beast! It has strange markings on it as well that neither of us have seen before

Henry the Hoover probably hasn't killed it - it will probably continue to grow, feeding on and crumbs etc that you clean up and will eventually turn out the size of Shelob:eek::eek::eek:

I have an absolute phobia about them - psychology lecturer had a go at de'sensitising me but I ran out of the room as soon as he produced a little picture of one ! DH has to go through the morning paper to make sure there are no pictures of any that people have found in fruit etc. And I will NEVER take any bananas out of the supermarket crates !
